Jade took her dress off and put on a pair of shorts and shirt -
The ball was over and everyone returned to their cabins. Derek and Madonna extended their goodbyes. But while Derek was about to leave Madonna tripped on her heels and hit her lips on his shoulder. Leaving a red lipstick capped on his tux. She apologized and went to her room.
Derek went to his room too. -

Jade was on her bed crying still her eyes puffy and red the blood still on her chin

Derek went into the room and saw Mae on the bed, crying. He had nothing to say to her. Not after what she said to him in the ball room. That got him really mad, since he was easily-angered.

" Derek, you never let me say what I was gonna say in the ball room I was gonna say, that you have been with me when I'm hurting and alone I love you with all my heart for that. I would die for you. I would do anything for you anything I tell you and thank you for saving my life with that man"

Jade looked down and wiped her nose on a tissue her eyes bloodshot

A smile slowly grew on Derek's face. "Its okay Jade" he said, sitting next to her.

She said " No it's not I can tell you are still mad at me because you have a red lipstick stain from that girl"

"What?" Derek said and looked at his shoulder and saw the stain. He laughed, "She tripped and dabbed her lips on my shoulder."

Jade just fiddled with her hands and her wedding ring. She told Derek she wasn't gonna wear incase someone stole it but couldn't resist

Derek hugged her, without thinking.

She hugged him back sobbing
