She had closed her eyes and passed out on the way down from fear

Derek shook her, "Jade?"

She slowly opened her eyes disoriented -
Derek smiled slightly, "Come on, wake up"
(I thought you went off) -

She opened her eyes and looked at Derek. " Did we both die?" She asked -
"No. We didn't." Derek said, sarcastically and stood up.

She looked at him confused " But I jumped off the cliff how did I not die?" She asked -
"I used my powers to slow you down." Derek replied.

" Oh okay, I was just I don't even know" she shad then she got up and kissed Derek with a passionate kiss then whispered " Thank you" huskily by his ear

Derek's eyes darkened and he stiffened when she kissed him.

" What's wrong?" she asked him carssesing his jawline

Derek's eyes was still black with a red dot in the middle.
"Nothing, I just-I" he stammered. -
She raised an eyebrow

"Its nothing." He said.
