Derek slowly approached her lips. Then gave her a light kiss.

She kissed him back but harder than he did. -
Derek had never been kissed like that before, his eyes popped open immediately.

She wrapped her arms tighter around his nev still kissing him

Derek kissed her softly, "Should we take this to the room?" He asked, after backing away. -
" Nah" she said frowning after he backed away

Derek nodded.

She hugged him " I missed our time to ourselves" she said

Derek hugged her back, "Me too. I couldn't stop thinking of you every time I went to sleep with the kids."

" I know, it hurts being away from you" she said frowning

Derek smiled instead and rubbed her back.

" But the surprise at Nana's party is that we are going on a two week cruise and the kids are staying with her@ she said excitedly

Derek backed away from the hug.
He was confused and angry at once. -
She looked at him and said " We have a cruise with the kids this week for Jaxon's birthday. I used my own money so you wouldn't be mad at me for using yours" she said smiling at him
