Derek hugged her, and a tear rolled down his cheeks. Yes, he had become very emotional.

She held onto him sobbing "I though I lost you."

"No...I'm still here. Don't say that, you're making me weak." He cried softly.

She held him shaking

"I'll protect you through thick and thin." Derek said, "and if it means I have to die. Then okay."

She looked at him sadly

Derek smiled faintly.

She kissed his cheek

Derek kind of shivered and kissed hers back.

Derek slowly hugged her again. He had a lot on his mind. Mostly about the dream Jade had. He sighed softly and pulled away. He smiled at her, and wondered if she noticed that it wasn't his usaul smile. He turned his head and sighed, silently. Then stood up and walked into the bathroom.

She lay her head back on the head board and her face was red from crying earlier
