Before I knew what was happening my heart was pounding in my chest as my feet hit the floor running down the hallway. I could hear over the intercom "CODE BLUE. CODE BLUE. CODE BLUE. ROOM 32". I arrived in the patients room they appeared to be blue in the face I looked beside their bed and saw the crash cart. I grabbed the paddles out of the AED kit, charged them and yelled "CLEAR!" as I slammed them down on the girls chest.

I felt a amazing shock and I shot up "Where am I ?"

The girl looked frightened and couldn't be over sixteen. I smiled warmly and said " You're at the Gracious Heart Hospital in Downtown Manhattan. You fell in the river and a passerby noticed you and called you an ambulance. You're lucky to be alive."

Riley was deeply confused then it came back to her someone shot her wing and she feel in the river.

"It's totally normal to feel confused and afraid. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have for me." I sat down in the chair beside the bed.
