Jade looked at the ground. "What's it to you?" she mumbled. She stood on one of the discolored seats and turned invisible. She was gazing at the dark-haired boy. She wished with all her heart that he could be hers, but she knew that no living human could love a ghost.
-
"Well, I am your brother who drives you hear everyday. We may be stuck in the bus, but there are better things to watch than a school yard. Besides. The teenagers are starting to get curious." He told her.
Daniel felt liked he was being watched. He always felt like that when the Ghost bus came. But, for some odd reason the feeling made him feel a little excited. Which only made him more curious about the bus. He walked over to the bus to see if he could learn anything. -
Jade glared at her brother. Suddenly, she heard a creak... One of the teachers? No, it was the boy... Stepping onto the bus! She crawled under a seat, fighting her love for him. She wished she had the courage to talk to him like a normal girl. She sobbed softly at the thought, forgetting that her love was on the bus and that any sound may attract his attention.

(I'm avenging your thread by 'spamming' positive stuff in the trolls thread.)
Quinten sighed and kept the doors closed and turned invisible. "Anyone in there?" Daniel asked. He looked in the door's windows and couldn't see anyone. He shrugged, walking away. Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and looked at his sister. "What's wrong?" He asked, driving away from the school. -
"I-it's complicated..." Jade sobbed. She crawled from under the seats and sat on one of the back seats. She remembered sitting in the same seat every day on the way to middle school, and she would laugh with her friends. She remembered being alive. And thinking about it shattered her heart.
(Thanks Magie. You're a good friend.) -
(no problem!)
Quinten parked the bus and sat beside Jade. Ghost were able to turn physical as well. They just couldn't eat, sleep, or leave the bus until their purpose was complete. As he wrapped his arm around his sister, it hit him. "You have a crush on that boy, don't you?" He asked. -
Jade looked up into her brothers eyes. She believed that she could trust him. Her eyes became green and less shiny, the way they were when she was alive. "He makes me feel alive," she whispered. "He brings me back to the days when I was free to have crushes, when I wasn't trapped in an old bus..." Her voice tailed away and she was, once again, reduced to tears.

"Hmm... Wonder why he tried to get on the bus. Fate perhaps? Let's check it out!" Quinten decided. He steered the bus back to the school.
Daniel saw the Ghost bus return. That was odd, because it only made one stop a day normally. "Maybe the Ghost liked you Dan!" His friend Kevin teased, having no idea he was correct. Daniel rolled his eyes at his friend as he stared at the bus. -
Jade's eyes widened and became hazel again. "But... We only stop here once a day! What if people start coming onto the bus?" She looked anxiously out of the window and turned invisible.
(Sorry, its a little short huh) -
(It's okay.)
"No one can get on the bus if I don't open the door." Quinten told her. But he knew she was scared so he drove off when Daniel tried to walk over. He parked the bus at the park. "We're in park!" He joked. -
"Very clever," Jade sighed. She was relieved that at least the boy couldn't come on the bus again. She was awfully conscious of everybody in the park staring at the bus. She decided against showing herself and asked Quinten how long they were staying in the middle of a park. "I mean look at them. They're staring right at us."
-
"Of course they are. But the whole town knows about the Ghost bus that goes to random places." He replied, driving off. "Where do you want to go?" He asked.
-
"Do you still know the way to our old house? It's been a while since we went there last," Jade mentioned. She ran up to the back seats and showed herself. She didn't think anyone paid attention to the back seats; they were mainly looking for the driver. She looked down at the outfit she had worn week after week for a year now. Her gray school shirt was crumpled, her skirt was torn in some places and her nylons had holes and ladders all over. She looked a wreck, and she wished she could leave the bus to change after a year in the same clothes.
