Setting: The moment imagination stops and we start becoming apocalyptic)
Rose paused as she was about to click play on the remote. Something was.. different. Just a moment ago she could've sworn she was happier. Now something felt missing, like for no good reason at all a part of her went missing. It made her feel emptier. "Hey, Jani?" She called from the living room. "What?" Jani said, sticking her head in the doorway. Normally, it would have made Rose and Jani laugh but she saw Jani was frowning. "I'm gonna go now, I think I left something at home," Rose said, standing up. She waved goodbye before she went outside and started her walk home, which was just down the street, but even the day seemed grayer. What the heck was going on?
(No need to make your post this long, starters are usually like this, but, hey, I don't mind if you do, my math teacher took my book, I could use a good read) -
Leonora was grooming herself as something felt kind of off, the cats that came to her for help almost everyday started to not show up, even her cat seemed a little figity. So she got up to look around a little and see if anyone else was acting different, sure enough others were acting weird infact she started to feel a little different

Jack was watching some TV when all the sudden he stared feeling weird. He noticed his colors were starting to fade and his iguana's claws looked sharper.
April was playing with her pet rabbit when suddenly she noticed her skin began to change and her rabbit began to slow down and change to black. -
Sol tilted his head slightly as he sat down in the grass with his eevee, noticing he felt a little odd. He sighed softly and layed back with his arms behind his head, frowning as he looked at the sky. He wasnt sure what was going on, but everything just felt....off. Sol got back up and grabbed his eevee before heading inside, not noticing a few feathers falling off his wings

Rose stopped near her neighbor's house to wave hello, but stopped midwave as her neighbor turned around from watering her plants and she looked different. Instead of the usual bright yellow colors, her colors were instead dark blue and black. Rose stepped back quickly, rushing to her house in a frenzy but in every step she took the sky seemed to lose more color.
Jani sighed in relief when Rose left. She had just had an unusual feeling and Rose seemed to sense it somehow and give her some space. As Jani stepped into the bathroom she noticed something when she walked by the mirror, stopping to back up and she gasped at what she saw. Her magenta colors were fading before her eyes into dark purple. -
Leonora returned home from her walk and when she got home she looked into her mirror and saw that she slowly got blood running down the left side of her face and a scar on her left ear

Jack walked outside and saw everything's colors were fading. He felt something snap on his head and he saw his horn on the ground.
April but her rabbit back in it's pen and went back inside. She looked in the mirror and saw her clothes turn black and white and parts of her hair grow. -
Sol looked down at his eevee and gasped when he saw its colors had changed. He then noticed his feathers on the ground and ran for the bathroom, staring at the albino face looking back at him

Rose hurried for the phone and started calling people. She dialed Leonora's number quickly, but while she was waiting as the phone rang she couldn't help but notice her hair was black over her shoulder, instead of the usual dirty blonde. She tried to ignore it as she waited for her friend to pick up, glancing out the window to see her neighbors in chaos, just as confused as her but growing violent.
Jani ran outside went and jumped in the air, hovering as high as she could, turning in a circle to get a good view of the world around her. Everything in LaLaLand was going dark! This was not normal at all, was it all just some well thought out prank? Well, it was working! She went back down and started to run towards Rose's house.
