"What's Magic?" Tim asked, watching her fix the ground.

Dew NewbieMinerva gasped at him, "you don't know what magic is?!"

"Nope. But hey. You don't know what a car is. And how did you fix the ground?" Tim asked.

Dew Newbie"A car is a vehicle with wheels called tires" she recited ehst he had taught her, "so now i know. Also its called magic. MA. GIC."

"What's Magic?" Tim asked again. Then he answered. "Magic as in Magic shows? Illusions of bent reality performed to confuse the mind?" He answered in the form of a question.

Dew Newbie"Not those cheap phony things, idiot, its this!" She hit herself with a rock, and healed the bruise while explaining, "magic is a channel of energy only special people have. Your mind and technologies are lame compared to this!" She turned into a tiny, fluffy tiger cub.

"Awe! You're so cute! But you have no idea what technologies capable of. Anyways, are you keeping the car?" Tim asked. The car was cool. And, being six and not a wise thinker, he wanted the car.

Dew NewbieMinerva padded over to him and blinked before musing, "no, mommy And daddy would be upset. I have to go anyways before they are anyways! Bye!" She purred before leaping off.
When she got there, her parents were discussing something with another set of parents, obviously royalty, with a snooty boy, around 8, standing between them. "Ah, yes, it will be arranged. 15, you say? We accept." The king mused. The other royalty (not the technology ones, btw) nodded snd left as the queen scooped up tiger cub minerva and asked, "where were you?"
"Momma, i was playing in the meadow and then I found this machine and a boy came to me and told me it was a car and helped me move it and then I left after saying yes when he asked if he could keep it!" She squealed.
The queen's eyes widened. -
(I don't think an arranged marriage was part of the plot. If you want one then put it at twenty or something as an add on to the plot for later.)

Tim returned home. His parents didn't mind that he was gone. They barely noticed he entered. He walked up to his room and went to sleep.
For the next ten years, Tim and Minerva met once a week. And have become close friends. But as they grew, Tim decided he wanted to be closer. Now Lilly's birthday was tommorow and they were meeting. So he had to get a present. He grabbed his bag of equipment and headed out. -
Dew NewbieMinerva found out she was having a arranged marriage to the prince she had seen when she was 5 named prince Adam.
She was not happy with this.
She was suiting up in her 'peasant outfit' tied her hair back, and leapt out the window on a pulley before shifting to a tiger, landing ob her feet with a loud thud and running to the netting place where the fishermen worked to help them out. -
(The arranged marriage isn't a worry until she's closer to twenty, right?)
Tim walked behind a makeup store. He snuck in, and used his flashlight to walk through the dark storage room. There was a hightech alarm on some supplies, so he had to be careful. He snuck a bottle of rose scented perfume and a bunch of Tiger Lilly and rose seeds into his bag. Then left the store and ran home to wrap the presents. -

Also minerva is not a fan of perfume.)
Minerva was leaping in the river with nets and hauling out fish carefully. -
(He's not giving it to her. He's using it for something.)
(Replace going home and wrapping gift with sneaking to another store.)
Tim snuck into a dress store and snuck a red dress with an orange scarf and black designs and took it home. He wrapped it before going to bed. -
