"Sorry." Jenna replied. She no longer felt like curling Marie's hair. Zoey sighed, plugging in the hair curler and getting to work.

Marie watched Jenna wanting to say something didnt she kinda felt bad

"Maybe we can find her a dance partner!" Zoey cheered. "But first, tell us. Girls or guys?" Zoey asked as Jenna looked at some of her necklaces.

Marie looked at Joey" guys" she moved a bit in the seat." Hey what time does the dance start again?" She asked them

"I think at three pm. Then it ends at five. Me, Jenna, and Walter will bring our dates to dinner after the dance. Want to join us?" Zoey asked.

" no I'm good. Just going to the dance this time" she said staring at the ceiling

"Okay." Jenna shrugged. Once Marie's hair was done, they got into a cab.
Walter was ready! He arrived at school early and taped a letter to Marie's locker. It said that he would meet her in the court yard of the school at three fifteen. Then he walked to the gymnasium where the dance was being held and helped them get ready. At three the taxi pulled in. "Can we go to our lockers? I have to get something." Zoey asked Marie. Their lockers were next to eachother. -
Marie got it if the car as Joey said that" yea sure, I'll check mine to I think I forgot homework in there" she said walking towards the school. Not Many people where there yet except faculty and students helping

Zoey walked to the lockers and saw the note. "What's this? A secret admirer asking to dance?" Zoeyasked. No one signed it. The only thing close to signing it was a drawing of a full moon and stars in the shape of a paw print.

Marie looked ar the note reading the woods she smiled at it knowing who it she out if in her pocket walking to zoey

They returned to the gym with Jenna as people began to arrive. Zoey and Jenna got with their dance partners. And no one noticed when Walter snuck to the court yard. He felt very nervous. But it was too late to back out now. He let instinct kick in as he walked to the court yard and sat at a pick nick table. His back was facing the door so that Marie wouldn't know who he was at first when she came,

Marie watched them dance then looked, at the clock seeing it was a few minutes past the time. She looked around and snuck out of the dance to the court yard

Walter heard the doors open. His heart heated quickly and he went pale. Which only made his blushing more visible. He took a deep breath and calmed down as he slowly turned to Marie.

Marie walked out the doors looking around. Her heart beater quickly nervous now, she saw a dark figure standing there turning around she could exactly see who it was yey

Walter walked over to her. "Hi." He told her, not sure what else to say.
