Wrench took a gun out of his pocket made sure it was empty and put in a sleeping dart and aimed it at Dr.Sting

Sting laughed at Alex. In her mind, Alex was being pathetic. "Go ahead Alex. Kill me. Maybe if you kill me, you'll forgive me and understand why I bent down to money and threats. Cause you bowed down to grief." Sting chattered. Alex blinked a little. She pushed herself up and walked over to the window. She looked up at the stars wondering what the hell she was doing as Dr. Sting got up and leaped at Alex.

Wrench shot Dr.sting in the side with the sleep dart "now why didn't you fix the cure yourself?" Wrench asked alex

"I quit! So I was no longer qualified to treat him. Some creep kept calling me. Telling me he would pay me thousands if I killed the next few patients that would arrive. I hanged up on him. But he kept calling me, emailing me, messaging me. He even called my sons school to talk to me! So I quit the hospital and never heard from him again." Alex sighed. "But I guess he didn't like the rejection. Or maybe he just wanted to keep me quiet. So he hired her to kill my son. And all the other children she killed after that." Alex told Wrench. "So. I cracked. I asked my husband, a great hacker, better than I, to help me track Sting down. He divorced me, because he didn't want his doctors trying to kill him." Alex sighed. "So I learnt about you. A team my husband wasn't good enough to join. So that was perfect for me to avenge my son..." Alex sighed. Luckily her mask hid the fact she was crying.

"You think the police believed me? They thought I was another conspiracy obsessed freak." Alex sighed. After a long moment of silence, she turned to Wrench. "Thanks for coming... I almost made a terrible mistake..." Alex sighed. "But... On the bright side I recorded Sting's confession. Now I have proof and I can turn her in." Alex told him, smiling.

"you might be able to turn her in but in the process you risk blowing dedsets cover"

"Not if I tell them we were talking in the park and she attacked me. Which is highly believable based on the parts I recorded." Alex replied. "I guess this means we part ways... Your team won't trust me after this." She sighed, climbing out the window.

"who said that?"wrench asked her

She looked back at Wrench and shrugged. "So you still want me on the team?" She asked, tying a rope to the window frame and tying it to a harness.

"if you want to be part of the team"he said

"Okay! See you tomorrow then!" She cheered, sliding down the rope. The next morning she gave the recorder to the police on the way to work. She entered the work and was met with stares. "Why is she still here?" One of the members whispered to Wrench.
