Antonio looked up from the boy he was trying to wake up, frowning. Her question stroke him as strange. "Well, these are my friends," he began. "I would care if they were gone." He looked at them, all peacefully lying there. Would he really care? He looked to Tiana, not wanting to doubt himself. "What's it to you?" -
"Well, if these hunters don't care about anything, I'm gonna have to kill them. Because they won't stop." Tiana told him, holding a sword to the one by Antonio's feat. "So, I'll ask you again. Do they care about you? Or do they only care for themselves?" She asked.
-
"Clearly they care about something!" Defensive again. He stood to his full height, throwing out his hand in anger. "They don't hunt just to kill. They hunt for the meat, the fur, the rich rewards you get. Not a single part of our hunt is left behind, unless it's a human. But even then, we value the lives we take. Just because they laughed doesn't mean they don't have a heart." Antonio's face turned red, and his lips curled slightly into a scowl, as if he were an angry dog. "If you try to kill them, I'll fight. I'll fight you until my last breath. If you thought us killing that woman was bad, imagine the kind of cruel you'd be if you killed an entire group of people."
-
Tiana thought about what he said. "But... That woman's life was worth the thousands of people she cared about. And the millions of lives she cared about. These greedy people? They are worth nothing. They have no family. And they care about no one. So yes, I'd be killing a group of people. But I'd still have less blood on my hands than they do! If you care, I might be able to let you live cause you're still worth something. But these people, are murderers. And they mean nothing!" She yelled. However, she still couldn't actually bring herself to kill them. "So tell me! Do they actually care about you!?!" She demanded.

Antonio glared at Tiana, his hand reaching for his bow. "You know, you cannot put a price on someone's life. Just as your friend's life was worth thousands to you, these mens' lives are worth just as much- if not more. Family doesn't mean everything, you know. They don't hunt just for pleasure. They hunt to get money to live, to please their customers, to... Do a lot of things that a girl like you cannot expect to understand. Also, just because they killed an old woman doesn't mean they don't care about nothing. In fact, they care about each other, as well as others. So how about you back off!" He pulled a bow with amazing speed to the bow, aiming it at her. Without thinking, Antonio released the arrow, watching it fly towards her. He wasn't sure what he was expecting- maybe that it would blind her? No, he had aimed too low. It was too fast, he hadn't aimed properly. For all he knew, he would miss. But his anger wouldn't allow him to let her go, saying things like that. As he lowered his bow, he shouted, "Of course they care about me!"
-
Tiana smiled and caught the arrow easily. "Let's test that, sha'll we? I'm just as bad as them if I talk about them like animals or kill them without giving them a chance." Tiana sighed, putting her sword away. Bruno flew down and grabbed Antonio by his shirt. "After a week, I'll let you go. If they come and look for you I'll let you go, and put an end to my quest. Unless you'd rather I avenge my mother now." Tiana offered, giving her hand for him to shake. "Agreed?" She asked, blinking. She never really called her mother before. But that's how Tiana thought of her.
-
Antonio watched, in slow motion almost, as Tiana raised her hand and caught the arrow in a slowed hand movement. He frowned, reaching for another. He was an expert, he had been raised by the hunters to- well, hunt. He had one of the best aims. How had she caught it? Before he could prepare the second arrow, the dragon had come over and scooped him up in its talons. He yelled, struggling against its strong grip. "Are you kidding me!? That's stupid! Let me go, you crazy girl!" He kicked at Bruno, trying desperately to get away. However, he gradually gave up, slowing down. He held out his hand, looking away. His friends were still fast asleep. "Fine, agreed, whatever."
-
"Good." She smiled, shaking her hand. "And ya. Everyone expects a girl who stalks hunters on a dragon and raises Unicorns to be normal!" She laughed as Bruno cloaked them. "Oh, and I'd appreciate it if you leave the weapons behind. The sea serpents are hard enough to take care of as it is. I don't need you killing the Unicorns and enraging them. They are nice creatures when you get used to them, but awful tempers. If you think I'm crazy." She told him as they flew off. After a few minutes of flying, Tiana almost forgot the situation. She reached her hands in the air as the wind blew her hair back. The sky was lovely today!

"Leave my weapons!? Those are my pride and joy, you can't expect me to leave them!" Antonio spat at her, enraged. "Don't--" But they were off in the air, Antonio dangling from the dragon's talons. He watched as the group- his home, his weapons, and his friends. Or, those he believed were his friends. That didn't matter anymore. They were gone. He tried to look up at this kidnapper, Tiana, but he couldn't. He stared back to the sky, upset.
