"Uh, yeah I must have just joined when the battle with the Dragon Covenant so that's probably why you don't remember me." Dak muttered quietly, almost to himself. He wasn't sure if he could keep up this charade very long seeing as how he knew nothing of his enemy. He had to make a choice, either run now or take his chances with this knight. "I actually had a shield somewhere, I must have lost it when I woke up." He looked around for his shield among the many bodies.
-
"Oh? Do you remember where you last left it? Oh, silly me. That must have been too long to remember. By the way, quite odd how we're alive, yes?" He pushes over a set of Ancient Dragon Covenant armor and finds a shield with the Silver Rose imprint on it. "Ah! Here we go, this should work nicely for you!" He rips the shield from the roots that had grown over it and begins walking over to his new acquaintance.
-
"Oh Thanks." Dak took the shield and slung it over his back. He had to make his choice now before this person figured out who he really was. "So what should we do now that the rest of the covenant is dead?" Dak realizing that that was a stupid question mentally smacked himself, but tried to play it cool. He was considering just running away, just like when the giants invaded and he ran away, knowing that if he stayed he would certainly be killed.
-
Edseer Strapped his shield back behind him before considering the question. "Well, There's no real point in standing here in this decrepit wasteland of a battlefield. On top of that, there is no telling how long we've been dead..." He continued to ponder on the subject, unable to come up with a clear conclusion.
Eventually, after a couple of minutes were spent thinking, he pounded his fist on his palm in enlightenment. "Alright, I have an idea of where we should go. Lady Tastrica was very young when she led us into battle against the Ancient Dragon Covenant. If we have only been dead for a couple of years, she should still be alive! We shall travel back to home base and find her before finding where we should start up from there." Edseer chuckled a little, pleased with his solution to the problem. "What about you, Sir Dak of the Silver Rose? Any ideas of your own?" He asked, trying to be considerate of the frail knights opinion. -

(soz computer troubles)

"I was going to go check on some of the other bodies to see if any others were alive, though that sounds like a better plan." Dak didn't want to seem suspicious. He fingered his concealed ring hoping for a slight chance of escape. He knew any second now that if he blew his cover he would most certainly be killed. Again that is.
-
Edseer nods and peers down at Daks hand for a moment, noticing that he had been concealing it for quite some time now. "Say, friend.... Whats wrong with your hand? Im sure i can scrap up some bandages or something... Oh! What about an Estus?" Edseer pulls out a small cup from a sack located on his hip. The cup glowed a yellow and orange hue, the cup itself looking as if it were made of flowing fire. "This Estus flask has been handed down in my family for generations as a healing suppliment. Im sure it can do you some good."
-
"Oh, know I'm fine, it's merely a scratch." Dak said as he slipped off the ring and put into his pouch, secretly of course. He had his own Estus flask with a similar backgrounds to Edseers' flask. "Besides we wouldn't want to waste it, we'll probably need it later. And we should get going, if we want to locate Lady T-Tastrica." There was a nasty taste starting to grow in the back of his mouth, figuring that was the effects of being dead for a couple years.
-
"Right! Onwards, then!" Edseer started walking towards a large tower in the distance, a path made by the bodies of dead knights from both sides. Behind the tower loomed a great white wall, and past that being a great castle lined with silver. It was the Capital of Thorns, homeplace for the Silver Rose cult. Of course, only Silver Rose members and some sneaky trespassers knew of wherr the cult was actually stationed.
-
Dak nodded in agreement before following Edseer to the capital. The group he was with were on there way to the capital when they were diverted and eventually killed off. Actually seeing it in person was mind blowing, he almost felt bad considering that the Dragons went to war with them. But that didn't matter now. He had to get back to the shrine, and see of any remaining Dragon Members.
-
As Dak strode alongside Edseer, the noble guard decided to spark up some thought provoking conversation. "So, friend. Whats your thoughts on this whole 'undead' dilemma that has brought us back to the lands of the living?" he asked, interesting to hear the thoughts of this frail warrior.

(Just realized I put Know, and not No)
"To be honest I would prefer to stay dead, I kind of favored the feeling of being dead, it was peaceful and I didn't have to worry about anything anymore." Dak said recounting his experience. He kicked up a small rock as they walked along. "What was it like for you?" -
Edseer tilted his head to give thought. "Well... I do not know, to be frank. All I can remember is darkness all around me, not a single being or light in sight. It was quite cold as well, but I got used to the feeling quite quick... Death is quite mysterious. I guess it differs from person to person, yes?" Edseer shrugged and continued walking. "I'm happy to be living once again, though. And with a friend, as well."
-
"Well it would probably much worse if we hadn't found each other. And yes the feeling of being alive is much more enjoyable then being dead." Dak walked around kicking up a couple of small rocks. Though he knew it would probably get him discovered and probably killed he slipped his dragon ring, comforted by the memories of past experiences.
