1. Muse A always knew they would end up in Slytherin. They came from a proud family, a long line that had been sorted into the same house for centuries, save for a cousin that no one talked about. When the day came to get on the train, Muse A found a compartment that held only Muse B. The two talked, shared their excitement, and bonded over what houses they wanted to be sorted to. By the time they reached the school, Muse A had Muse B convinced that they should be in Slytherin too, but the hat decided otherwise. While Muse A ended up in Slytherin, Muse B was most excited to learn everything they could, and was placed in Ravenclaw. Muse A, too proud to admit they were saddened by the sorting hats decision, simply turned to their housemates and began to chatter about all the food. They never saw the disappointed look on Muse Bs face.
Fast forward a few years, and Muse A hasnt talked to Muse B since. Muse B is top of the class, a fact which Muse A and their friends often joke about. The two get partnered together for a project, and Muse A is surprised to find that Muse B is the same clever person they met on the first train ride; they havent changed, and Muse A is intrigued. Their friends are quick to poke fun that the long-lost friends have been reunited, but Muse A just waves them off, only to realize that theyre right. From then on, Muse A sees Muse B everywhere. Muse B was there all along, but Muse A never noticed, and now that they have, they cant stop thinking about Muse B. The only thing stopping them from acting on their feelings is what their friends might say.
2. Muse A and Muse B are orphans who meet by chance on the street. With no one else to look after them, they spend several days fending for one another and gradually becoming friends because of their similar circumstances. When Muse A doesnt turn up at their usual meeting point one night, Muse B is forced to assume the worst and move on. Years later, the unlikely duo meets again; Muse A has become a beautiful Geisha while Muse B has become a fierce Samurai. The two instantly remember the connection they once shared and begin to fall in love. Unfortunately, Muse A captures the attention of an abusive Shogun (Muse C) who will do anything he can to keep Muse A to himself.
3. Muse A is an unhappy member of the royal family. Since they were a child, theyve been reared to be a perfect model of virtue and modesty for the common people. For years, theyve upheld boring traditions and repressed their true passions for the good of the crown. One afternoon, Muse A attends a play at the queens theater and is shocked by the vulgarity of the actors speech and risqu costumes. The shock quickly turns into intrigue. Though Muse As seated in an ornate balcony, sectioned off from the lower-class attendees, Muse A insists on meeting the actors after the play concludes. Muse B, the playwright and lead actor, is humbled when Muse A applauds their work and immediately commissions them to write another play. Muse B is excited, until Muse A reveals that they would like to star in this new play. If the queen disapproves of Muse Bs role for Muse A (or the new play in general), more than Muse Bs livelihood will be at stake.
4. Muse A and Muse B are college roommates and good friends. Muse A is taking an art class, but has been falling behind and is on the verge of failing because of too many nights out partying. Muse A is given an assignment to sketch different forms for the human body for extra credit. Instead of buckling down all weekend and getting the assignment done, Muse A spends his weekend partying with friends. Its a day before the extra credit is due and Muse A is in a panic. Muse B finds out from Muse A about the possibility of Muse A failing his class and offers to be a model for Muse A. Muse A and Muse B have a few drinks to loosen the other up and feel more comfortable. Muse B strips down naked and poses on his bed for Muse A to sketch. Muse A cant help but be distracted and aroused by Muse Bs nude body and provocative stares. Its not long before Muse A and Muse B find themselves making out hot and heavy in their room, creating their own form of erotic art. -
