"Sure," Chalcedony said with a half smile, loosening the rope for a second. The rope slipped out her hand. "Oh!" She gasped, trying to grab hold of it. "Nooo!" Chloe said as she started drifting away. -
Archaios noticed Chloe starting to float away so he changed to his beast form and jumped up in to the air, flapping his wings once before grabbing the back of her dress and taking her back down with him

( I think that's mainly because it was set in that time and I really just wanted to have a character who came form a really future-y place into a placement with no advanced technology)
Annie was sitting in the library. She was beginning to get hungry, really craving some soup or something but she didn't want to go ask what was for dinner. Instead she continued reading her book while she sketched a bird. -
Macrabedoodles NewbieRiley let out a high pitched shriek as she fluttered up quickly to tie her belt to her dress and shoved her boots back on her feet. Lydia walked into the library. "Soups ready."

Annie looked up her face a bright burning red. She nodded bowing her head before scuffling out of the library, her blonde hair tied in a plait. Due to them being inside of the house she had putt on some of her clothes from the future, just her pyjamas though. She clutched Her how to train your dragon plushie close, she'd lied about it to the other kids saying she simply drew it up so none of them would want to leave and go to the future.

"Wheeeeee," Chloe said happily once again. There was just no words describing floating away and being free.. Except when you float to high and die. As far as she knew, her great grandma had died by floating into space. "Thanks," she said to Archaios, hugging him with relief. Dona ran up to her and hugged her tigtly. "Don't ever do that again," she demanded. It was a weird three way hug.

Lydia sighed and led Annie to the kitchen, where the other small group of children were. Miss pigeon was busy doing something. -

Annie looked at her. " I-I've been working
On drawing some future things M-Maybe I could tell them that I made them up and they don't really exsist where I'm from? Then we could use them for twenty minutes a night before I run out of blood?" She asked shyly. Only Lydia and Miss pigeon as well as the girl who brought her to the house knew the truth about her timeline or something like that. -
( Also just going to say that She's just suggesting it that she probably wont even be able to do it but I wnatebdthat to be a part of her character)

Chloe let go of Archaios and went inside the house with a skip in her step. Dona followed close behind, avoiding any stares of other students. They kept their distance as well. -

Archaios made a warbling sound and lifted his hind leg to scratch his neck, sending a few loose feathers flying behe changed back to his human form and darted inside -
Macrabedoodles NewbieMiss pigeon gathered everyone up and handed them raincoats and such. "Time to reset!" Riley and scydalia cheered and ran out.

Annie put on her raincoat , tying her scarf tighter around her neck. She slowly followed the others outside.
