"Shoot I wasn't listening," He said jokingly. He looked at Castiel with new eyes. He had always wondered about earth and what was on it. He heard rumors about hunters and torches but he was still curious. He then looked around cautiously. "Come on, follow me. It's not safe for you out in the open like this."
-
Castile nodded softly although he was peeved that the demon so openly stated he hadn't been paying attention to him. Castiel sighed softly as he followed.
-
Damien grabbed his staff from off the ground and took Castiel's hand. He led him to his place. Unlike other demons, Damien didn't live in a cave. He had built a house with all the supplies he could gather but it still barely held, so he had to kind of use stars as glue in some parts. He smiled apologetically."Sorry you angels probably live in better living quarters but we kind of like to be in darkness, " Damien said, motioning to the no windows.
-
Castiel rolled his eyes " Let me guess you assume we live in large houses with sprawling gardens? Everyone has a great place to live?" He said with a snicker " You have the upper class, they live in the kind of houses I described just not as good as gods, then you have the middle class and the working class, middle class generally live in three bedroom pushes while working class, like me , live in apartment buildings generally a one bedroom taht you need to share with someone else and then you have the slums and the outsiders, the slums self explanatory not many really have a house most pay rent to live in shared buildings while the outsiders live on the streets"
-
Damien lifted his eyebrows. He had never really met an angel and this is the most info he's heard about them. "That's about the same as here," he said intriguedly. Maybe angels and demons weren't so different after all. "You're very smart," he complemented before he opened his door. There were no lights so he just walked in and sat on the makeshift couch that he'd heard humans had. He liked it.
-
He shrugged" guess so" he said before sitting beside the demon. He yawned slightly.
-
"Are you sleepy?" Damien asked worriedly. He didn't know how an Angel's sleep time worked. Maybe he was doing something wrong. Was Castiel bored? He wrapped his arms around him to warm him up.
-
Castiel looked down at his arms. " Yes I am tired but I do not require you're arms to be around me when my wings will provide what I need" he said although in a polite tone.
-
His reaction)
Damien nodded and felt his face get hot. "Okay," he said slowly, taking his arms off of him. Damien stared at Castiel for a while in silence, taking in his light brown colored eyes. It was probably one of the lightest things he's seen in his life. He liked the change. -
Castiels wings moved to cover him like a blanket and he stroked the, " You know my wings aren't really mine, they belong to my Spiarai , she's a sky dragon but they appear when and if I need them and Grandenny must have decided I need them" he yawned as he snuggled into both Damien and his wingsC
-
Damien listened curiously. "She must really be helpful, then. Imagine if you fell from heaven," Damien said with a smile. He vaguely had a thought of how bad that would be. Damien didnt want Castiel to get hurt. He yawned as well, Castiel's sleepiness catching on to him. He reached out to stroke the wings but then pulled back halfway, unsure of what would be Castiel's reaction.
-
Castiel nodded " I usually jump of the cliff to get to earth to do my job and if she can't come and get me herself then the wings save me" he yawned softly before he purred and moaned, writhing about as the wings were stroked.'
-
"My wings are pretty boring compared to yours," he said to Castiel. "My dad says Luna the moon goddess blessed me, but I don't believe it. A curse, at the most, if she did anything. Maybe it's just an excuse as to not tell me who the heck my mom is," Said Damien, realizing to himself this was the most information he's given about his past. He continued to stroke the wings, enjoying the feel of feathers. He had never touched anything so soft.
-
Castiel hummed showing he was listening or at least partly as he rubbed against Damien, similar to how a cat would act he continued to purr. Although his wings weren't hsi own they were still connected to him even if they had a mind of their own
-
Damien muttered something unintelligible but it sounded like "... stars .. moons..." . He hummed a soft beat as he stroked Castiel's wings, then moved on to stroke his back. He loved the way Castiel purred, like a cat. It was adorable.
