Dirge stared up at the moon as he sat at the edge of a lake, his tail slowly moving side to side. sighed softly and then he stood up, the chains hanging from the metal shackle on his wrist rattling as he started walking

(Sorry, I was in class.)
Stella heard a rattling nearby and hid in the bush. She saw a wolf walk by and walked out slowly and quietly. -
Dirge heard her and stopped to look at her, growling softly

"H-hello..." she whispered. She realized he was a member of the Moon Kindom and ran past him to get into her castle.

Dirge blinked and watched her go

She ran in through her window and transformed back to human. She looked out the window and watched the wolf.

Dirge stared at her for a moment before he started walking away

The next day, Stella decided to try out her fox form. She crawled out the window and crept into the forest. The trees looked even taller when she was mere inches above the ground! "Hello!" A scratchy voice greeted. Stella turned and saw a coyote! "Lost are you?" He asked. "No... Just leaving..." she replied nervously. She ran and he chased her.

Dirge ran through the forest, following a scent trail from a deer. He smelled a fox and a coyote so he stopped and growled before starting to look for them

The coyote chased Stella as she ran up trees, over rivers, and hid in holes. Once he almost bit her tail as he chased her! She tried many trails, but could no longer find her way home!

Dirge spotted the coyote and he snarled before he left and grabbed the smaller canine in his jaws and throwing it in to a tree

Stella hid behind a tree and watched the coyote and wolf battle. Eventually the Coyote ran away. "T-Th-Thankyou..." Stella stuttered nervously.

Dirge looked over at her "did he hurt you?" He asked after a moment

"N-no." Stella answered. But just in case she turned back into human and checked for injuries. Then she turned back into a fox. "But... Why did you save me?" She asked.
