Rose forced a smile and hugged him gently, stroking his hair. "Shh... it's okay..."

Rose sighed and closed her eyes, suddenly feeling quite tired.

Glacius hugged her arm with his head

Rose forced open an eye and smiled weakly, humming despite her pain.

Glacius whined and put his head on her shoulder

Charles burst inside, panting. "Rose!" He rushed over, concerned.

Glacius looked over at him

Charles pulled Rose up, who whimpered in pain. "Charles, calm down... it's just a scratch..."

Glacius growled at her

Rose stiffened and sighed. "Charles, please leave. I'll tend to my own wound."

Glacius started getting up

Rose stumbled as he set her down, Charles leaving and closing the door.
