Glacius was trembling as he limped down a empty street, his tail dragging along the ground behind him. A car drove past and he flinched when filthy water splashed on to him and got more dirt in his already infection wounds. He saw a bench and limped over to in, just barely getting over to it before he collapsed from pain -
Rose was humming quietly to herself, her driver speeding down the road. She let out a sharp gasp as her drove by someone, splashing water onto them. "Charles!" She scolded before hopping out of the still moving vehicle and rushing toward the person and stopped just feet away before shaking her head. He was a hybrid, but no different than she. "Are you alright? I'm so sorry! Charles didn't seem to see you!" She approached without fear, a frown on her lips from concern. He seemed... odd, but very beaten up.

Glacius heard someone talking and lifted his head to look at them, growling softly.

Rose crossed her arms, "Now now, none of that. I'm simply trying to help. You look wounded..." She reached out and placed a gentle hand on his head and sighed, "You're burning up... I need to get you patched up, and you'll be fit as a fiddle." she smiled gently, kneeling in front of him.

Glacius cringed away from her touch and growled again, but his growl was softer this time. He stared at her for a moment before he let his head drop back on to the bench

Rose sighed quietly and looked to her car, "You can rest in The backseat, alright? Charles and I will help you." A male stepped out of the drivers seat... a man with dog ears, a tail that was wagging, and fur around his neck, hands, and ankles. "Rose, I don't think he wants to be touched," The man warned which simply caused Rose to nod. "I know. It seems he's been through so much, but we need to help him. Please Charles? I know you don't like me asking you to do things, but I can't carry him on my own." Charles sighed and nodded, approaching and gently taking his legs into his furry hands as Rose took his shoulders, resting his head on her chest gingerly. "It'll be alright..." she murmured soothingly.

Glacius snarled weakly at him and his tail twitched slightly before he made a pained sound when rose touched a wound by his neck

Rose frowned and nodded to Charles before the two gently took him to the car, Rose getting in the back seat with him and placing his head on her lap. Charles got into the drivers seat and buckled up before beginning to drive toward their home, a rather large home with multiple hybrids. Rose gently stroked his hair, "What happened to you?" She murmured, her voice soft and kind.

Glacius whimpered softly and started trying to get out of the car, only to find he barely had enough energy to move his arms. He flinched when he felt fingers in his hair and he turned his head to look at her

Rose sighed, "I won't hurt you. I promise." She looked to Charles, "How far are we? I need to disinfect his wounds as soon as possible and get him a bed to rest in. The poor guy's scared to death..." She glanced down at him sadly and shook her head, "How could someone be so cruel?" She whispered sadly as her hand drifted to the scar around her neck.

Glacius trembled slightly and hr closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep

Rose smiled as he fell asleep, humming quietly before looking up and sighing in relief to see her home. She opened the door and looked to Charles, who nodded and helped her with the hybrid to get him inside, smiling gently as she took him to her bed room and lied him down, the children surrounding her with smiles. "A new family member," they murmured excitedly which caused Rose to smile and shake her head, "Not quite. He must choose to stay here after I treat his wounds. Please leave, children."

Glacius started waking up and he blinked at the children, tilting his head at them in confusion, as he had never seen a child before.

Rose had her back turned, wetting a cloth and getting some bandages before turning and blinking in surprise. "I'm sorry, did we wake you?" She asked gently, walking over with her supplies, leaves rolled up.

Glacius shook his head after a moment with another soft growl, watching her warily
