lori burst into luke's front door, startling his mother, who was cooking. "LORI! merciful heavens.." she said, catching her breath.
"sorry, mrs. dodson!" lori mused before bursting into lukes room. "hey, stone, we're gonna prank mrs. crabford!" mrs. crawford was a complete jerk, and today lori was gonna get her back. -

Kyle sat on his bed and closed eyes for a time control practice. He just couldn't do all these in public so he's trying to manipulate his power in secret.
He closed his eyes and tried to feel the time around him. He experienced it. He was trying to feel that the time is slowing down. -

Kyle was shocked and fell from his bed. He never heard so slow voice. It sounded like, "Kyyyyyyyyyyyyllllleeeeeeeeeeee geeeeettttttttt ooovvvvveeeeeerrrr heeeeeerrreeee."
He stopped and replied, "Uh, yeah, alright. Will be there in minutes." -
Kyle ran as fast as he could. He didn't wanna start Pear again. He knew and had felt the consequences before.
