Jerry sighed and sat on the front porch. He listened to Justin talk to his friend. "Shut up!" Justin laughed. Clearly something embarrassing was said on the other end. "So, should we meet this weekend?" Justin asked. Jerry got bored and walked away. But he stopped when he heard: "I can't wait to dance with her..." Jerry knew he missed part of the conversation. But he heard that. He called Lori and told her what happened.

brightfire NewbieLori went to her room and listed the information. Sshe his it xarefuilly and went downstairs, serving delicious sausage with herbs cooked in.
-
Lindsay ate her dinner while talking to Lori. "Rosie called me! She says she's taking me shopping for a dress to wear at the dance this weekend!" She cheered. "Also a dress for the talent show!" She added.
-
brightfire NewbieLori acted uninterested as she talked but was intrigued. "Alright. Not like I have anything to do at all this week." She muttered unhappily before eatingf a piece of sausage.
-
"Want to join us? Rosie will need advice too but I can't see." Lindsay offered. "Plus I don't think she should be driving..." She sighed, looking out the window.
-
brightfire NewbieLori nodded. "Sure." She took of sip pof cold coffee and finished her food.
-
"Well, I'm going to say goodbye to Justin." Lindsay decided as she finished her dinner. She made sure her hair was neat as she walked towards the door.
-
brightfire NewbieLori watched from the window.
-
Justin smiled as he saw Lindsay come outside. He hanged up the phone and walked over to her. "Hi! Sorry about my sister." Lindsay laughed. Her warm breath could be seen in the cold November air. "That's okay. It's good to be protective when you have something so special to protect." He replied, wrapping his arms around her.
"I was trying to kiss you earlier." He whispered in her ear. "I know..." Lindsay whispered, looking at the ground. "Why'd you back out?" He asked curiously. Lindsay laughed. "I got scared..." she answered. "Are you scared now?" He asked. "Yeah." Lindsay laughed, feeling his breath on her cheeks.
"That's okay." He whispered. She could feel his breath on her lips again and she let go, taking a step backwards. "Good night..." she whispered. "Goodnight..." Justin sighed, leaning against his car. He watched her with disappointment as she entered her house. But he got in his car and drove away. Lindsay waved goodbye before going inside. -
brightfire NewbieLori was fuming and almost tossed a rock out the window at him.
-
(They still didn't kiss.)
"I feel like Cinderella!" Lindsay sighed as she plopped on the couch. "Why do I keep running from my prince?" She asked herself, smiling and staring into space. -
Lindsay sighed, playing with her hair and waiting for Lori's answer. She got up and spun around! Practicing her dancing.
-
"cause your not sure if you like him or not. believe me, i know." she had studied psychology and hoped to go to college with it.
-
"Is that so? That how you feel with Jerry?" Lindsay teased. "And I do like him... But what if something goes wrong?" She asked.
