brightfire Newbieoh!
that makes sense.))
"nah, i'm more worried about the fact she can't twirl without faceplanting." lori mused. it was true. -
"That's why she needs classes! Everyone suffers when they begin! You know that!" Lori's mother laughed.
-
brightfire Newbielori lay down on her bed facefirst, shooeing her mother away with a few feeble flaps of her hand.
-
In a month, they were driving in silence to move to Talley. "Why is the town called Talley?" Asked Lindsay. "Because a while ago, a man named Jeffrey Talley started the Weekend Academy for Competitive Arts! The best school for Gymnastics, Dance, Acting, and more! The town's famous for it, and yet, no one's heard of the town." Their mother laughed. "Cool!" Cheered Lindsay.
-
brightfire Newbielori was playing some random app game on her tablet. she had her earbuds plugged in and tuned out everything else. she hadn't really resisted the change, she was still a bit upset.
-
After another long silence, their mother came up with an idea! "Let's sing a song!" She cheered, taking off Lori's earphones. "Any ideas?" She asked.
-
(I have to go to bed. Good night!)
-
Pearbugdoodles NewbieNight!))
Lori hissed and shrugged it off, putting her earbuds back in and nodding her head to the music. -
Her mother sighed. "Fine! I'll pick one!" She decided. "This is the song that never ends!" She sang. "Yes it goes on and on my friends!" Lindsay laughed. "Some people started singing it! Not knowing what it was!" "And they'll just keep on singing it forever just because!!!" "This is the song that doesn't end!!!" "Yes it goes on and on my friends!!!" Lindsay and their mother sang the song for a long time!
-
brightfire Newbielori groaned as they sang into the late hours of the night and stretched in her seat area. (gonna guess they have a 3 row seat car?), pulling a pillow over her head.
-
(Their car's a pick up truck. Ti has three seats in the back and two in the front. Lori's sitting in the back, the luggage is strapped into the back back and Lindsay and their mom are sitting in the front.)
They eventually stopped singing. "Okay! We're here!" Their mother cheered. The two girls had never met Uncle Albert because he was always very busy. He owned a charity company and was always hosting events for it.
They pulled into a fairly big brick house. There was a front porch painted blue, a pile of boxes with toys and food next to a small yellow table, and a garden in the front yard filled with flowers, watermelon, and a squash that could be used for making bird houses. Uncle Albert was a very friendly looking man. He wore a nerdy t-shirt and a Base ball cap. "Hello Girls!" He cheered. "Are you excited to see your rooms?" He asked. The two girls shared a room at their old house. -
brightfire Newbieok!
thanks for clearing that for me ^^))
lori was fast asleep but woke up when they pulled into the drive. she looked through the window at uncle albert- he seemed ok. when she heard the mention of their own rooms, however, her jaws popped open as she grabbed lindsays wagon, "im gonna borrow this for a second, kay?" loaded her boxes into it, and managed to drag it upstairs. she waited impatiently for her uncle. -
"You're a teenager now Lori!" Uncle Albert laughed with amazement. "No she's not!" Their over protective mother laughed. "Last time I saw you you were, what? Five!?! Now you're starting high school!" He laughed, ignoring his sister. "Jr. High!" She corrected. "Shut up Molly!" Uncle Albert laughed. "By the way, your room is this way!" He added, walking up the stairs. Clearly children either lived in or visited this house. Because the stairs had drawings all over them.
-
brightfire Newbie"hey, uncle albert, whats up with these drawings-" she paused as she looked into her room- it was completely empty, and coated with drawings. she put her hands to her cheeks to scream but her jaws just opened and closed. "GREAT!" she stormed into the room with her things and unloaded the box, standing and taking in the walls. then she had an idea. "MOM! i'll get a part time job to fix this room up, and you can't stop me!" she declared.
-
"There's no need for that, I've been meaning to paint it over... But I had no idea what color you'd prefer." Uncle Albert sighed. "Lindsay's only three, so it's easy to know hers!" He laughed. "Pink!" Lindsay cheered. Uncle Albert nodded and opened the door with sparkly pink letter that said Lindsay. All the walls were painted pink in there. "The moving truck will be here with you furniture. And the stuff I ordered off of Amazon." He told them.
"Also, about the drawings, I can't really make money from charity. So I'm also run the town's daycare." He explained. "But you'll be at school when those kids are here, so you won't have to worry about them." He added.
