The werewolf ignored them until the girl spoke again. He pretended to be picking at his cape as he listened to the exchange. Typical, he thought to himself. There was never any need to trust the kings of kingdoms. Especially not this one. He was the reason Mikain had broke, and started to change out more. He was tired of the abuse from their so-called fair king's men. He hadn't meant to hurt the people he did- only the ones that had picked fights with him.
Tilting his head back onto the bars, he finally spoke. "I've been trying to warn everyone. He's not who they think he is. But no one believes the person they fear, do they? No, they'd like to turn their head to the truth... That's why we're all damned." -
Fey and the king both turned to him. Fey laughed a bit" i think thats something we can both agree on there" The king Was glaring at him. " are you going to give me my family back or not?" she asked him one last time. The king told her no, so she started to walk away. when nobody was looking she swiftly ran back to the cage quickly unlocking it then yelled out after mikain was let free and already out the door " well our deal is over then" she ran after the other werewolf as the king sent his men after them
-
Mikain hadn't thought that the girl would release him. He darted out, feeling a wave of pain come from his ankle. He had no time to worry about it, though. He had to get out. He immediately started to run out of the room, his cape swishing behind him as it had in the forest. He glanced at her, silent, as he heard the marching of the men from behind him. He reached out, grabbing her hand, as he started to lead her through the forest. He had somewhere the men had never found him. He dodged through the leaves, wincing in pain as he stumbled. The king's men could barely keep up with his twists and turns, though, and soon he didn't hear them anymore. Still, he pressed on until they reached a wall of thick branches and bushes. "Go through there," Mikain instructed. "I'll be right behind you."
-
Fey looked behind him not exactly trusting this stranger. She couldn't hear the marching anymore and hoped that thy didnt know where they where. then her eyes darted to the sky seeing if the kings bird was flying over head, lucky it wast. She ran into the bushes which lead into a tunnel sort of the opened up to another part of the fores shes never been to. At first she was amaze by it then it hit her Her family was still there.
-
Mikain followed behind her, locking his hands behind his back. This part of the forest was thick with trees, and he nudged her to a trail. Quickly, he said, "My home is down this path." He froze when he saw her pause, a conflicted expression on her face. He sighed, looking down. After a moment, he asked, "Are you okay?"
-
Fey shook her head"Y-yea" she finally said then moved forward. She couldnt go back or the king would have them all killed. Even though shed only met the king once, the peasants in the kingdom talked about him doing horrible things to thieves, and people who where framed and they got hanged for no reason. She followed the path he had showed her and saw a small house.
-
Mikain wanted to press more, but he decided not to. He didn't like getting tangled up in other people's personal business. Especially when he didn't need to. To be honest, he wasn't comfortable leading her to his home, but she had saved him, and it looked like she'd need a place to hide. He pulled his necklace out- his key to the house- and quickly unlocked it. Shoving the door open, something clicked in his head. "Hey," he said, "What exactly is your name?"
-
Fey watched him unlock the door. She cautiously walked in the house not exactly trusting him. She walked in when he asked a question, she looked p"Fey" she said kind of quietly looked around the house.

Mikain's house was small- it had a living room with enough space for a small table and some cushioned chairs, a kitchen beside it, and a little hallway leading to a bathroom and two bedrooms. He removed his cape, looking at Fey. "It's a nice name," he offered in an attempt to make small talk. "You're free to take whatever food you'd like from the kitchen. I don't have a large variety, though.
-
Fey looked at him " no thanks, i dont like taking from people, even if they let me" she said While walking around the small living room slowly admiring it

(Sorry for the late response.)
Mikain frowned, moving to sit on one of the chairs. "You'll have to stay with me for at least a little while.. You can't just starve yourself." He moved, and cried out in pain- his ankle, which was still sprained, shot pain up his leg. He leaned back into his chair, swearing. "Ahh.. Heh... I'll definitely be on bed rest for a while."
