The boy had gentle looking brown hair, light blue eyes, larger than average ears, and a skull tattoo on his neck. He wore a leather jacket on top of a black and white striped shirt and ripped jeans. "I'm not spying. I can just read minds of living." The father whined. "His name is Johnny, but his friends think Joe is cooler."

Hailey kept staring at the boy as her father was telling her about the kid. then she turned her attention to her for a moment " why are you telling me this not trying to sound rude "

"I don't know. I'm just saying that boy let peer pressure get in the way of who he is. Same with that girl over there. She wants to be a farmer, but her friends say that's gross and she pretends to like figure skating. That girl wants to be a lawyer, but her friends say that's boring and she pretends to like sports. Peer pressure is very powerful... I myself wanted to be a dancer!" Her father added.

Hailey laughed" but what where you? mom never talked about you anyway. so im never sure what you did." she leaned back feeling empty inside

"My friends said that was too girly! So I became a bartender... I got sick and tired of that, so I started a job performing my dancing at a coffee shop where I met your mother..." He sighed fondly.
"I was much happier, dancing at the coffee shop! I danced to Jazz mostly. Then I went out dancing every Friday with your mother and got a full time job performing at the place we had our first date. A month later, you were born! But... On the way to meet you at the hospital..." Howwy paused. -
Hailey looked down" yea i know mom told me that part....." she sighed" she hates when i tired to bring it up." She looked up slightly as she saw the bus slowing down at her stop. her and a few guys and girls unloaded from the bus. she jumped off walking back to her house.

"I thought I heard Guitar music when we went outside!" Howwy laughed, changing the subject as he watched the fake gang boy walk to his house across the road from Hailey's. He waited for the bus to leave then took out his guitar and played it.

Hailey saw him then looked at howwy " ok, ok maybe you where right" she laughed heading to her house across from the boys as she waved her hand slightly at him before walking into her driveway

Howwy looked suspiciously at his daughter. (the only mind he couldn't read.) "Are you interested in that boy?" He asked as Lisa came home. "What boy?" She asked.

" huh? oh hey lisa" she looked at her dad than at lisa" nothing dads just being dad " she laughed slightly as she hugged her sister.

"Hey! Where's my hug!?!" Howwy asked before he remembered he was a ghost. "Oh, yea." He muttered. Lisa laughed. "Well, I'd love to hang out, but I have an after school job you know!" Lisa sighed. She was a history tutor and a babysitter! "Do you want to come help Hailey? I might need help babysitting since I'm babysitting the little brother of the boy I'm tutoring." She sighed.

Hailey sighed " fine Oh and dad even if i had any interest in that boy , he wouldn't like me back anyway" she looked at the boy the at her dad while walking to the car with her sister.

"Oh, we won't need the car! They're right across the street!" Lisa replied.
