"Hi Hailey!" Bella cheered. Bella had medium, feathery, brown hair that gently rested on her shoulders. She had bright blue eyes, freckles, a small nose, and average sized ears. Her skin was a very gentle tan. She wore a very sweet flower T-shirt and her shorts showing her grass stained legs. She clearly played outside a lot.
Her friend Kate was almost opposite of her. She had chocolate brown skin, long straight black hair, green eyes, and her skin was clear from any marks besides it's color being brown. She wore a black jacket over a Taylor Swift t-shirt, a bright yellow skirt, and purple and red striped leggings. -
"We're gonna sign up for teams or clubs. Want to come with us?" Asked Kate. "I'm going to sign up for track and field!" Bella decided cheerfully and quietly.

Hailey looked at them her smile gone almost " um I'm not sure..."

"That's okay. Sorry if I was putting pressure on you..." Kate laughed. "Kate needs to work on her control issues." Bella blurted quietly. "Not at All!!! No way! No... I don't know... Maybe? Yes." Kate admitted. She laughed at her friend's confused but humored look. "Well, we have to go or we'll be late!" Kate announced. "Race you Bella!" She laughed.

Howwy then popped up. "Hi! Those two seem odd." He laughed. He studied them as they ran off. "But, then again, who isn't?"

Hailey rolled her eyes" yea you say that about everyone. Watch maybe next time a boys gonna talk to me and youll be asking questions" she laughed

"No! I won't say a word!!!" He promised defensively. I'll be flying through him repeatedly until he gets the cold chill enough to stay away instead." Howwy joked.

"oh come on dad that's not fair. what i cant be friends with guys? its like saying You cant hang out with girls" she got up and started to head to her next class

"Oh! Friends is okay! I thought you meant if a boy asked you out!" He sighed, disappearing.

Hailey gigled then walked into her class room sitting in the back of the class.

After school, Howwy was looking around. "Man! I forgot how jerkish teenagers were on the bus!" He complained. "You know, that boy claims he wants to join a gang so that his friends like him. He really wants to be a country singer!" He told Hailey, pointing to a 14 year old boy who looked like he would look sweat if it weren't for the leather jacket and ripped jeans.
