Dirge tilted his head "necromancer?

Theresa said "Yeah. I create spells and other things with spirits and the undead. That's why I asked if you were a ghost before, I wanted to see if I could convince you to let me stay."

He nodded slightly"that's cool" he said with a smile"all I can do is heal and slow time a little bit"

Theresa said "Well that's cool too. If somebody gets hurt, you can help them."

Dirge nodded slightly 'yeah

Just then a knock was heard at the door. Theresa said "Oh, I better go answer that."

Dirge frowned slightly and changed back to his human form

Theresa answered the door and two people who looked like hunters where at it. One of them said "Excuse me miss, but reports say an escaped hybrid made residence here before you purchased it. We have reason to believe he's still here."

Dirge stiffened slightly and watched the men warily

Theresa said "Well I checked the house, there's no one here." The other hunter said "We'll have to come in and check. And don't try and stop us, we have a warrant." Theresa said "Very well." Both of them came in.

Dirge tried not to panic when the hunters walked inside

As the hunters started to search her house, Theresa only hoped that Dirge was hiding somewhere good.

Dirge shook and tgen he slowed time for a split second so he could climb in to a box and shut it, biting his lip to keep from crying out when he felt pain wash over him

The hunters searched the whole house, but stupidly didn't open any boxes. When they didn't find Dirge, one of them said "Well I guess he's not here." As they left, one said "Apologizes for disturbing you ma'am." and just like that they were gone.

Dirge sighed In relief and curled in a ball, trembling slightly as blood dripped out of his left ear
