"And Pine apples." The principle suddenly shouted. "Now I got your attention!" She laughed. "This school has a buddy program. For this program all grade ten students must come to my office after the assembly."

After the assembly all the grade nines were told to wait outside. "I'm bored!" Stacy sighed.

The Vice Principal Mr. Dison came out and told the grade 9s to go wait at their lockers.

Chara yawner again in boredom.

"Race you to the lockers!" Sang Stacy. at their lockers they saw the brown haired boy Chara talked to outside and a girl with long curly red hair, green eyes, a blue dress, and glasses.

"I'd rather... um walk...'' she answered seeing the boy.

"Hello! So you're Chara right?" The boy asked when he saw her. "Well, my name's Peter. I'm your class buddy." he introduced, waving to the twins. The red haired girl then spoke. "My name's Mavis. I'm Stacy's class buddy." She smiled kindly and shook Stacy's hand.

Chara smiled her hands playing.

"What is a-" Stacy began to ask.
(class buddy) -
"class buddy?''Chara continued she giggled slightly.

"A class buddy is someone who shows you around the school, explains the schedule, makes sure you're making friends, teaches you the rules," Peter paused for a minute. He leaned in and whispered. "And how to break them." He laughed and continued. "Your lockers are side by side. Mine is next to Chara's and Mavis here has her locker beside Stacy's." Mavis rolled her eyes. "We should have called you ChatterBore!" She sighed.

"ok...Um thank you?''Chara opened her locker.

"Not my idea of course. The principal chooses grade tens who she thinks will get along with the grade 9 to be he/she's class buddy." Peter concluded. "I think it's childish, but it's helpful." Mavis shrugged.
