"How are you?" Lisa asked as the bell for class rang.

Jack approached lisa in the library. "Hey, can we talk?"

(you mean in class?)
"Uh... I guess." Lisa replied. Not remembering ever saying they couldn't talk. -
(Sara?)

Jack doesn't reply so Lisa picks a seat at class. After English, she picks up her stuff and sets off for history passing Jack again in the hall. "What did you want to say?" Lisa asked.

"Look, im sorry about Sarah. She...well...she...her pet dog Vicki died yesterday. Thats why she wasnt so good this morning."

"Um, okay!" Lisa sighed smiling. "That's okay! I'm sorry for her loss." After that she walked quickly to class.

Sarah saw Lisa walking by. She didnt know whether to blank her. Lisa ran up to her.

Lisa saw Sara in the hall. "I'm sorry about your dog." Lisa sighed smiling a concerned smile.

Lisa walked away when Sara didn't respond. She saw Alex in the hall. "Hi Alex!!!" She called.
