(I'd like to introduce this character somewhere along the story as a relative of Naomi. Shes a distant cousin.)

Naomi suddenly opened her three eyes as the suns rays shined on her face. It was 11:45. She could sense it. Naomi had a gift when it came to predicting the time of day without the need of a watch or clock. It just came naturally to her.
She laid in her small bed, already fully clothed and prepared for the journey ahead. What journey, you may ask. Well, the journey to beat the gym leaders and whatnot. Of course, she couldn't do this alone. But lets just say Naomis third eye kinda makes it hard to make friends.
A few hours later, Naomi is packed and ready to set off. She didn't need to say by to family since she was the only one left living in the house, and she had picked up her license yesterday. But before she left her abode, she turned around and gave it one last look. No words were said, only silence in the air. After a few minutes, Naomi turned back around and was off.

Ardice reached up to the machine filled with goodies, her eyes wide in awe. Several colors and brand names stood out to her, all trapped behind a bar. Her stomach growled, and she sighed, staring at the trapped food. The Shaymin had been traveling with her companion, Laith, for hours. They had arrived at a nearby city not too long ago. However, now that they were there, the Luxio was fast asleep on a park bench under a tree. P
outing, she kicked at the machine, hearing her stomach roar a second time. Laith had insisted that because he was the adult, he got to control what food the money went towards. She had sadly agreed to it, only to find out that the lion pokemon often refused to let her buy junk food. Ardice had additionally promised she wouldn't use her powers to get what she wanted. Especially because it could get them in trouble with the authorities. She sighed loudly, looking back at Laith. He hadn't moved from his spot for almost half an hour. And her hunger hadn't changed, either. Ardice shrieked in frustration, causing passerby gijinkas to look at her in confusion. -
Naomi had recently entered the first city and shortly upon arrival, a very annoying shriek had caught her attention. Turning her head towards the wail of distress, Naomi and all three of her eyes found the source of said shrieking to be a young Shaymin near a candy machine. Well, the Sigilyph had a few options. 1, let her continue to make ear-piercing cries until someone shuts her up. 2, get her some kind of treat so that she'll stop harming Naomi's sensitive ears. Or, lastly, 3, get out of the city as soon as possible. Luckily for the little Shaymin, Naomi had gotten pretty hungry on the way to this city and was craving sweets as well. Option number 2 it is, then. She began to approach the little green gijinka and stopped once she was only 1 step away from walking into her. Then, using her psychic powers, she began speaking to the girl through her mind. Hello, Shaymin. Please stop crying. I will help you. Which candy bar would you like? She looked down at the little girl with her eyes wide open and staring down at her, unblinking.

Ardice stopped banging the candy machine, her body tensing in fear. Slowly turning, she saw another gijinka merely a foot away from her. The Shaymin gulped, examining the other. They appeared to be a female Sigilyph- very pretty at that, Ardice noted. It wouldn't hurt to take their help. Especially when the small gijinka was so hungry. However, she had always been told by Laith not to speak to strangers. Ardice was special, he said, and many would jump at her if they ever realized what she was. The young girl looked back to the machine, listening to her stomach. "I.. Don't mind," she replied aloud, staring at all of the candy. "Whatever is fine. I'm just.. Really hungry.."

Naomi nodded and kept staring at the little girl, using her psychic powers to lift a coin from one of her inside-poncho pouches and put it into the machine. She then pressed button number two, making the machine drop a Swirlix stick, a pink sugary stick that tastes like cotton candy.
Naomi slowly blinked before continuing to stare. In the machine, small child. Naomi wasn't sure if this was scaring the girl, but she assumed the shivers were from a empty stomach. You're welcome. What is your name? My name is Naomi. -
(Also that slow head turn was on point-)

Ardice watched the process, waiting patiently for her new friend to pay for the food. She hadn't even hesitated at considering the other to be her friend. This Sigilyph seemed to be trustworthy. After all, they had bought a complete stranger candy- not something many people would do. When the candy fell to the opening, she bent down, retrieving it.
"Thank you," the Shaymin cooed happily. "You don't know how hungry I've been since I got here." She held out her hand instead of diving right into the candy bar, a smile on her face. "I'm Ardice! It's nice to meet you, Miss Naomi." With her hand still out, the teen used her teeth to rip the packaging open. She began eating it right away- and soon, before the other gijinka could shake her hand, the candy was gone. Ardice stuffed the remains in her dress pocket, placing her now empty hand on her left hip.
