"What is there to get scared of. I used to hunt in these woods." He laughed he drove for a while."Do you play any instuments?" he asked

"I play the cello. How about you?" She watched out the window, only to see dark shadows and old trees. A low howl could be heard in the distance. "Hear that? It's the full moon taking effect." August joked.

"The trombone."he said to her. "Whats that?" the animal was charging at them. Alex slammed on the brakes hitting the animal. Alex sat down for a minute .

August rubbed her head that had just hit the back of her seat. "What the heck?" August got out of the vehicle to inspect the animal. "Crap, I was afraid of this." She muttered. The headlights revealed a werewolf. His face was full of blood and his fur was matted. There was a loose, torn up remain of flannel. The signature clothing item of Mr. Brewer.

Alex got out of the car to see what he hit. "What the hell is that, and whos shirt is it wearing?" He asked August. "What arent you telling me August?! What the hell is that?" He rubbed his head thinking 'what did we hit?' He looked at the moon. "Are you getting lightheaded? Ohhh god..." He fell to the ground then he blacked out.

August had just opened her mouth to respond, but Alex was already falling to the ground. "Alex!" She rushed to his side and set his head on her lap. "Alex? Please wake up." She slapped his cheek lightly in attempt to wake him up. In front of the car was the werewolf, taking low, shaky breaths. She gave him one last good slap to see if he would wake up.

The pain was excruciating. It hurt like a baseball bat with a land mine hit you. Bones starting cracking, it felt like the biggest pain in the world. His eyes opened. "August get in the car. Please."He stated."I dont know what is happening, but I feel like im going to end up like him." Alex said.

Once August knew what was happening, she got up and took a step back. "Alex, I know what this is, okay? Just stay focused, and don't think about eating." She gulped, watching him. It must have been his first shift if he wasn't sure of what was happening.

He looked at her. "What am I" he said. He looked over to beast to only notice that it was breathing."If you know what I am then get in the car August." He nodded torwards the beast.

August sighed, and took another step back. "Look, you're a werewolf. I could tell the moment I bumped into you. Your whole scent radiates it. But you can't be alone for this type of thing, Alex. It's too dangerous." August opened her mouth to say one more thing, but she decided it would be best to wait.

He was almost done shifting. It was the worst feeling, but when relized what was happening he cleared his thoughts. He picked up the other wolf, and sprinted away to find a place to hide from August.

"Alex, wait! s---." She muttered. She quickly turned the car off and chased after him. "Alex, stop! You can't be alone with him!" She half shifted and sprinted after him, picking up on his scent. After a long moment of running she could spot him. August could make out the sway of his tail off on the distance.

It was all a blur, but he could notice the wolf was awake. The other wolf bit him. This made him super angry. He threw the other wolf into the wall of rock. He charged after the wolf and tackled. He could also make out August in the distance.

August fully shifted before intervening between the two wolves. She pounced on Alex, pushing him away from Brewer. Brewer got up, his eyes glowing slightly. He was gone. In human form he would be mentally unstable. It explained why he choose to stay as a werewolf.

Alex growled at the wolf. He was being a preadator and Alex didnt like that. He looked at August, and pushed her away before he scratched his to little or nothing. He was irratated.
