Schatten whimpered again before he fell, making the demon smirk before he took the blade back "thank you for putting him to sleep. It will make transporting him much easier" he said

"No problem." Adoel picked Schatten up and jumped back, putting him over his shoulder. him over his shoulder. He ran towards his door and set Schatten down there.

The demon snarled and darted after them, pulling out a dagger to stab Adoel

Adoel grabbed the demon and threw him onto the floor. He kicked him and threw his blade at the already injured knee.
"You make me sick." -
The demon screached in pain as the blade cut through his leg and then he glared at Adoel "I don't give a f---" he said before getting up

"That's exactly why." He smiled. He grabbed the blade quickly. He threw it at the other knee, then retrieved it, and repeated.

The demon fell back down and snarled at him one last time before it teliported away with the others

He looked behind him at Schatten and frowned. He picked him up and opened the door leading inside. He set him down on the carpeted floor. "You awake?"

Schatten opened his eyes and nodded slightly"yeah, I'm awake" he said softly

"Oh good." He smiled and held out his hand. "Come on, off the ground."

Schatten grabbed his hand and got up, although he was still trembling slightly.

Adoel chuckled. "So scared for someone who's being chased to be a weapon. He took a seat.

"Oh don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely terrified. I'm scared of a lot of things." He laughed. "I just don't show it."
