Alexandra felt she was missing a large piece of what made up this boy's personality. Like it was standing in front of her face. Then it clicked. She WASN'T holding on tightly. His arm must be broken. "I'm sorry." Alexandra repeated.

Of course it's not. It was probably an accident at his home.. Or maybe not an accident. The limping, the bruise, the broken arm, refusing to talk about his mom or dad.. Alexandra couldn't stop her mind from heading towards a very scary direction. "I get it now." She whispered.

archaios slowly looked at her with a slightly hopeful look on his face "do you?"

"I'm going to ask a very serious question. I need you to trust me and be completely honest, okay?" Alexandra said.

Alexandra took a deep breath, "Do your parents abuse you in any way. Not like discipline kind of abuse but for no good reason to actually do it?" Asked Alexandra.

"father does" he whispered "mother keeps me alive to make money

"Can you explain to me how she makes money with you?" Alexandra asked calmly, though inside she was horrified.

Archaios started shaking "people pay her so they can do what every they want to me" he said softly

"Okay, follow me," Alexandra said, grabbing his noninjured arm and walking in another direction towards the police station.

Alexandra walked through the police station and walked up to the cop on secretary duty (or whatever position they're in on movies) "Aren't you kids supposed to be at school?" he asked. "This is an emergency situation." Alexandra said.

"My friend here gets abused by his father daily and rented out by his mother to make money." Alexandra said, pulling Archaios forward to the cop. "The bruise on his face is proof of abuse."
