Alexandra started humming the song she heard from next door in her last class.

He looked at her slowly

Alex saw him looking and smiled. "It's a lovely song, right?"

He nodded "yeah, I wrote it.

"Oh." Was all Alexandra said but so many questions ran through her mind. Where did he learn to play the piano? Did he hear her yelling?

Sorry, my brother and me just went through a tussle. Screaming, yelling, and threatening included. Now my arm hurts :D)
"You're very talented. A lot of people must be very proud." Alexandra said 'a lot of people' instead of 'your parents'. -

He snorted "yeah, sure. -
"I am so serious right now. You must be the most sincere and awesome person I've met at this school so far," Alexandra said, which was true. She was thinking back to the blonde girl and that mean bully.

He shrugged slightly "thanks, I guess" he said before he turned the corner

"So you want me to leave? You know, since your mom doesn't want to see me with you?" Alexandra asked, feeling intruding.

"Okay." Alexandra said. She turned a different way to go to the park "See you tomorrow!" She called out, waving a hand.

He waved back and then he he looked at his home before he slipped inside, praying his father was asleep. He yelped as a glass bottle smashed against the wall and then he looked at his father with wide terrified eyes
