Archaios frowned slightly and he walked after him, blinking when he noticed the light "should we go check it out?" He said after a moment
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieRoarik shrugged and looked back at the hole they made. "I suppose it would be the most logical choice of action. Although, the other path that we were originally going through could lead us where we want to go as well. What do you think? The path of light, or the path of darkness?" He asked, removing his helmet.
[I have results set up for either path you choose to take. Choose carefully.] -
Archaios frowned and he looked at the light for a bit before he looked at the darkness "I think we should continue heading the way we had been going.
-
DM Roarkvil Newbie[Darkness it is.]
Roarik moaned before putting his helmet back on. "And to think I almost was able to put my arm to rest..." Roarik began walking back to the original path, stepping over the rubble that was once a wall. "I'm ready when you are." He said. -
He chuckled softly "sorry" he said before he notched an arrow and then he started walking
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieRoarik gave Archaios a slightly angry glare before sighing and walking alongside him. No point in pouting.

It had been 15 minutes since the two had continued their trek through the dark passageway before they entered another boxed room with two paths, one on the left, and one on the right. In the center, a battered chest. "Oh, treasure! Good call on your part, Archaios. It's even unlocked! Some sucker must have gotten killed before he could loot the thing. And look, there's light coming from the right path. It might be the same light that we saw from the other room. What do you want to do? Explore the treasures inside the chest, or check out the light?" He asked.
[I have results set up for either action you choose to take. Choose carefully.] -
Archaios frowned at the chest before he walked over to the left path and stood there for a bit before he walked to the other one. "I can't hear anything, but I guess we could always come back here if we need to..." He said to himself before he looked over at Roarik "let's go for the light this time
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieRoarik laughed as he extinguished his ball of light. "Thank goodness! Keeping this thing lit is pretty draining." Roarik began walking towards the right path himself before he saw something leap at Archaios's back. Alarmed, Roarik drew his sword and shouted. "Archaios! Behind you! Move!"
-
Archaios smiled softly at his laugh "I'm sure" he said. He heard Roarik shout at him and he jumped to the side, spinning around
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieThe chest was gone from it's spot, now leaping at Archaios with long legs and a tongue covered in blood. The chest creature had teeth on the inside of it and flesh walls. As Archaios turned around, Roarik picked up a stone and flung it at the chest man, missing by barely. The chest flew past Archaios, only the edge of the creatures teeth ripping through your shoulder armor and slightly piercing your skin. Roarik drew his sword and ran at the creature, ready to attack.
-
Archaios grit his teeth against the pain and then he shot an arrow in to the things mouth
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieAs the arrow pierced the Chest mans tongue, Roarik took a mighty swing down at it. The Chest man had just enough time to spit some blood at Archaios's face before leaping back from Roarik's attack. Roarik grunted before picking his blade back up and swinging again, but to no avail. The beast was too agile for Roarik to hit. "Huff... Huff... Archaios, try shooting it's legs! If you do that, I might be able to land a blow on this thing!"
-
Archaios flinched as the blood splattered on his face and he quickly notched a new arrow. Archaios watched the monster for a moment before he fired, sending an arrow straight threw the things right leg
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieRoarik grinned as the creature tripped back, scrambling to get away. Roarik swung down with all of his might, slicing the Chest man in half. Blood spurted all over the room before two objects materialized out from the insides and guts of the Chest man. Two scrolls now lay in the pool of blood.
-
Archaios whiped the blood off his face before he looked at his wounded shoulder with a frown. He looked around for something to use as a temporary bandage
