Leo said "It was amazing, we got traders from all around and not a single instance of crime. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately there was a great fire and we almost lost everything. After we rebuilt, we stopped getting most of our trades and the lord left after 5 months."

" sounds like it was quite busy until that fire came... It might have been well known because of your lord but after the fire he sounded like a coward!" Blake said sighing.

Leo said "That's what some of us thought of him, but we didn't want to believe it. And we didn't until he left us."

"So... What do you do for uh something to do? I mean don't you ever take a break besides eating?" Blake asked

Leo said "Fraid not. There used to be other knights that guarded this village and we all to shifts and breaks. Now only I am left."

Blake sighed," maybe that is wghat we could do...recruit some new guards or Knights," she said?" Besides what if something did swarm the village, I'm not saying that you couldn't handle it but really what if it is just too much?" Blake asked.

Leo said "I was thinking about that, but I don't know how to train other knights."

"Hmm... Well when you get the chance we could possibly duel just for practice, I guess... Then latter I could train people to help you out cause I have a pretty good idea about it..." Blake said.

Leo said "What would you know about sword fighting? You can't remember who you are."

" no but that is why you can teach me..." Blake said shrugging," besides you're the expert. Think of me as an apprentice I don't know...."

Leo said "Come by later in the afternoon. I'll train you then." He started to leave to his post.

Blake nodded," it's settled then. Thanks Leo!" She said waving slightly. She then turned around and went along with the day.

Leo maintained his post at the front of the town. He kept a watchful eye on everything that went on.

Blake wandered the village more waiting for Leo's shift to be over. She just felt that in her blood she knew she could fight but was still sketchy about it...

Soon Leo's patrol ended, and he went to find Blake to bring her to the training arena.
