The next morning, Leo woke up and decided to make breakfast. He didn't have a lot to eat though except for eggs.

Blake was passed out still on Leo's bed. The image of the girl with brown hair was replaying in her mind.

Leo couldn't stay around, he still had guard duty to take care of. He make breakfast for himself and Blake. He left to his position at the front of the village.

Blake say up straight as if she had had a nightmare. She covered her eyes from the bright light coming in to Leo's room through a window. Blake pulled her self off the bed then fixed it the best she could. She walked down stairs to see a nice warm breakfast on the table.

Leo stood at his post, making sure no criminals break into the town. He did stop a cart pulling some hay to make sure no one was being smuggled in. Everything checked out fine and they moved on.

Blake thought the knight was out on patrol and ate the meal he had made. She then found som string and put her hair up into a ponytail. She walked out of the house to see if Leo was indeed out on his guard duties, more than likely he was.

Leo walked around town making sure all was calm in the village. He made sure everyone was happy and safe.

Blake close the door behind her then walked around town. She met some new villagers and talked to them as if she new them for ever. Blake enjoyed the little village, it simply amused her.

Leo saw Blake and walked to her. He said "I see you're awake. Did you have a good rest?"

" more or less... Also thank you for breakfast." She said smiling," you have an amazing village...what's its name?" Blake asked.

Leo said "I'm afraid it's been so long since our lord abandoned us and no outsiders even know of this town so unfortunately, I no longer remember."

" I see... Tell me why are you not the lord you seem like you could do it." Blake said with her smile slowly fading.

Leo said "Lords need to be assigned by the king and I doubt he even remembers this little village."

" I see..." Blake said looking down then looked back up..." What was it like? With the old lord around?" She asked.
