Ryan took down one of the posters and took it home. He'd memorize it, hunt down that werewolf...ah, the glory! The money! The fame All his, and the price only the useless life of a werewolf. What an awesome deal.
-
Kalia gasped and ran. She could run fairly fast, considering she was part wolf. The sound of gunshots could be heard from miles around. And to top it off, a man was blowing his bugle that alerted all hunters to get their arms ready.
-
Ryan heard a sound from where he'd been. The bugle? Yes! A werewolf? Yes! Maybe.. The werewolf! And he, Ryan, would kill it! He HAD brought a gun with him, do he grabbed it and hurried out of the door. He hoped he'd get the final shot. He wasn't a licensed hunter, but still..he was gonna kill that werewolf!
-
Kalia saw a house up ahead. She ran kind of close to it, but not too close. She knew she needed back up. So she stopped on the hill. "Freeze!" She told everyone. She brought her lips to a strange shaped whistle and blew in it. Then a million wolves came out from the woods and stood behind Kalia. "I have my army, and you have yours." She said. "Now we can all just go home happy and NOT fight, or we can all kill each other. Your choice."
-
Ryan saw loads of hunters pouring after a single figure. The werewolf! He rushed after them, but was shoved back. "Stay back, you," a burly hunter growled. Ryan felt frustration build up. "No!" he snapped.
"Escort him home," said the hunter. At his words, two hunters took Ryan and forced him back to his apartment, were they guarded his door. "Can't let anyone get hurt," they said. But Ryan didn't care. Reluctantly, he turned back to reading his new magazine, [i] How to Hunt and Kill a Werewolf. -
Kalia watched the hunters every move. She took a step back. She jumped up and into a tree. Kalia began jumping from treetop to treetop to get away.
-
Ryan lay on the floor, bored. He had nothing to do.
-
Kalia jumped on the roof of an apartment. She hoped no one heard her shoes pounding across the roof. Standing on the rooftop, she let out a big howl.
-
Ryan heard a howl. He flinched. He could still remember..what had really set him against werewolves. That baby..oh, that tiny child. Ryan fought his tears. He was a man. But the baby, his brother..
Ryan was only eight. His newborn brother, Randy, was playing with him. Randy's laugh was so cute. Ryan and Randy had been so happy, on a warm summer afternoon, not a cloud in the sky..but a creature, a creature, with wolf ears came and just..took Randy. Took Randy away from Ryan, and Ryan staggered into the house, crying his eyes out. His mother came to comfort him, saw the baby was missing. Ryan explained as best he could, through his tears, and his mother nodded slowly, tears in her own eyes. 'A werewolf,' she'd said. -
Kalia's eyes were fierce, which made the hunters paranoid. But Kalia didn't want any violence. She remembered why she was warned away from humans. Why her kind hated them.
One day on a cool evening, humankind was hunting and came across a baby werewolf. The were wolf had been Kalia. The hunters shot Kalia, but she had somehow lived, with nothing but a moon shaped scar on her shoulder where the bullet had hit. To pay back for what had happened, Kalia's brother had stolen one of human kinds babies. They had raised it to be their own. In fury, humankind had killed all of Kalia's family.
Snapping back to reality, Kalia realized why she was fighting. Who she was fighting for. And she wasn't going to give in this time. -
I GTG be back 2morrow)
-
Ryan shook himself out of the flashback. He was a man now. But the memory of his sweet brother hurt. A lot. Randy had learned his name first..'Wyan'. So cute. Ryan brushed away a tear threatening to trickle down his cheek. Randy was gone and there was nothing he could do but avenge him.
-
Bump)
Kalia jumped from the tree. She ran into the forest. The wind seemed to whisper through the trees, beckoning her to go faster. -
Ryan stared out of the window. Ah, the power of memory. But Ryan fought it. Somewhere out there, there was a werewolf. And Ryan..if he found it, he'd kill it.
-
Kalia sat against an old tree. The tree had been there for years. She remembered playing hide and seek with her brothers and sisters before they were all killed. She had been just a toddler, younger then anyone else, but they treated her like a grownup fairly.
