C1 and C2 are strangers. C1 drinks first from a fountain on a hot day. Later C2 also drinks from the fountain. The next day, C1 saves C2's life. C1 is kidnapped, and nobody but C2 (and anybody else that wants to join) knows. (Anybody else is a kidnapper, or is with C2 trying to or preventing C2 rescue C1). C2 can't save C1 and C1 dies.
(OPTION) C1 can come back to life if C2 gives up something important. C1 & C2 can be boyfriend and girlfriend if you want to. Also, there can be other people who like either C1 or C2.
