(Thank you, good sir. :3)
Kasey followed quickly, sword in hand. We could switch off during battle... the young girl thought. She looked around, a few cowering soldiers standing by. She ran over to them, using one of them to jump up in the air and toward the robed man she had yet to see. She grit her teeth slightly, a small fang popping out. The young girl soon started bringing the sword down upon the man in front of her and to the man's head. She breathed deeply. -
(No problem. :3)
Some of them can be such cowards.. Link ran up behind Kasey and waited for a moment. Regares tried to dodge out of the way but his left arm had been caught by her blade. Zelda was falling quickly, but was stopped right before she hit the ground. Regares used a spell to make her float on the air, and that's when Link ran up to him. "You-!" Was all Regares said before the green garbed Hylian bashed his shield against his head. Stumbling backwards, the tall warlock was forced to release the spell, but Zelda's body harmlessly fell a few centimeters to the ground. "Who are you, and what do you want with Zelda?!" Regares snarled. "None of your business!" A kick to Link's gut sent him back a few feet, and then he went to do the same to Kasey. -
(My deepest apologies, I seemed to have passed out the previous night.)
Kasey breathed shakily and stood her ground for a moment. First, watch their movement.. then, wait for the right moment to dodge... She thought to herself. As the warlock lifted his leg, she spun to the side and quickly brung her sword up to the mans back. However, all good moves must come to an end, for she had tripped over a loose stone, and fallen straight onto her rear end. She still held her sword though, but glanced at Link. "Link!" She shouted, tossing the sword over to him before quickly running toward the princess that lay not to far from them. -
(It's okay, not long after, I met the same fate. xD)
With a swift rolling movement, Link picked up the sword and held up his shield as Regares whaled on it with great force. He looked back to see Kasey running over to Zelda, and then to the crowd of people standing there, unsure of what to do. "Run!" He yelled at them, before a fist slammed into his face, nearly breaking his hold on his weapon. "You're starting to piss me off, kid. I have places to be." Link thrust his foot into Regares's torso, sending him back a bit. "I don't really give a damn." With lightning fast reflexes, the hero whacked the pommel of the sword against a pressure point on Regares's neck, knocking him out on contact. -
(We've met with a terrible fate, haven't we? xD jkjk-)
Kasey was now sitting on the stone with Zelda's head placed in her lap as she carefully watched the scene. After a moment, knowing Link could handle himself (considering he just knocked the guy out), the blue eyed swordswoman gently moved the unconscious princess to check her for any major injuries. She looked perfectly fine. Thank Goddesses.. Kasey thought. She looked at Link and smiled widely. -
(Yup. xD)
Link looked back to Kasey and knew everything was okay. With a small smile on his own face, sighed in relief and rubbed his left cheek, where he was punched. It would leave a bruise for a couple of days, but would be fine sooner than later. I've survived from worse wounds. Taking some rope out of his pouch (which he had gotten weeks earlier, but found no use for), he tied Regares's hands together, then his feet. The knots he tied were very tight, so he wouldn't get out easily. At that moment, more soldiers came from the gate leading to the castle. "Take him to the dungeons, for he had stolen away the princess." They all saluted him. "Sir Link." Then they picked him up and began carrying him to his new home. Link walked over to Kasey, and held the sword to her pommel first. "I'll take her." -
(:D)
Kasey looked at the soldiers as she took her sword the young hero held out to her. She nodded absently, slipping the sword back into it's sheath. After a few more moments of staring off into space, the young female looked at the blue-eyed male and nodded. "Right." She said, slowly standing. After looking at the princess one last time she sighed and looked at Link as if asking what she should do. -
(Let's just hope there are no creepy statues waiting for us now. xD)
Link picked Zelda up and carried her, left arm on her back, right under her legs. "Ever wanted to see inside the castle?" He asked Kasey, motioning his head towards it. "Come, let us go and recuperate. I believe another meeting is in order." The blond swordsman said, walking towards the castle. He checked once to make sure she was following before he turned and resumed walking. -
(Right? xD)
Kasey's excitement grew. A castle? But, that was royalty! Oh man, was she really going to see one? She hurriedly followed Link, grinning cheekily. After a moment she was walking side by side with the hero, humming softly along with the steps they took. She adjusted her sword and shield slightly as she walked before she pulled hee hat on slightly tighter. -
(Yeah. xD)
By how fast and how cheerily Kasey walked, Link could tell that she was excited. Just like he was when he was first allowed access into the castle. However, that was before he knew he was there.
With the Master Sword in his hand, and Midna at his side, the young hero cautiously walked into the upmost part of the castle, and found he was in the throne room. With the thunder booming loudly and lightning crashing outside, he briefly got a glimpse of the face he had perceived to be the demon thief himself. With a malevolent smile, Ganondorf Dragmire welcomed him to the castle the only way he knew how. By possessing Zelda and making him fight her. After all was said and done though, it had been Link who claimed victory, but just barely. Then, the nightmares began..
"...Link..?" A fragile voice asked, and the person in question looked down. Zelda had awoken, it seemed, and was looking right at him. "We got him, don't worry." -
(Looks like I did it again...)
Kasey was currently sitting by the window. The two had walked up to the princesses room and laid her to rest. The young swordswoman was staring outside, and although she heard the royal female she remained quiet as she watched the land below. After a moment, with a small sigh, the young girl slid down to sit, taking her weaponry and resting her head on her legs. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, her fingers holding tightly to the pummel of her sword as she listened to the conversation taking place nearby. -
(I'm partially to blame, I take a little too much time replying.)
Link looked over to Kasey with a smile, then back at Zelda. "That man, we've imprisoned him after I hit him good." Zelda was put at ease with that, then sat up in her bed. She looked to Kasey curiously, then beckoned her to come over with her arms. "A friend of Link's, I assume. We are well met. I am princess Zelda Harkinian Hyrule, it is a pleasure to meet such a lovely young lady." She held out her hand for Kasey to take. -
(Not really. :3)
Kasey, after walking over, stared at the hand for a moment before shaking it lightly. "Um... H-Hello.. My name is Kasey, Kasey Sanders." She smiled, bowing slightly. "Nice to meet you-" After a moment the black haired girl gently took her hand away, a bit hesitantly. She looked to Link, smiling before back at the princess with a small chuckle. -
(Don't deny the troof! xD)
Zelda shook Kasey's hand, smiling. "What a pretty name! Forgive me for not being a good hostess, but I'm not feeling too well at the moment. I'm sure one of the butlers prepared food already, you just need to make your way to the cafeteria." And with sudden clarity, Link remembered his dream. "This reminds me.." And so, he divulged his tale to her, fully. -
(I'm not tho- xD)
Kasey stayed and listened. She wasn't really hungry. After all, she grew up not eating a whole bunch. She kept her weight at where it would be needed but the outfit she had was baggy for her. To be fair, Rusl had set it up with his own clothes. Ilia had fixed it up a few times along the way. She smiled at the thought of her friend and sighed, zoning out slightly. Luckily, she had snapped back into reality as Link finished his explaination of the dream she had known about. Kasey looked at Zelda for her response.
