Grayson had always been a relatively peaceful sleeper, never exactly moving or talking or any of the peculiar actions others might take to. The only strange thing the teenager might do throughout the course of his rest would be the act of curling himself deep into the covers, so much so that he would be covered to his nostrils. The boy, at that point, was in that state, completely 'clothed' in the blankets, his snores gently echoing against the fabric. As he slept, a dream began to play out like a familiar scene in a movie, vivid and colorful as it formed. Typically, dreams weren't much in the terms of a personal level for the sixteen year-old, but this one was obviously going to be of that caliber when his mother and a field appeared.
The field was a mesmerizing green, wildflowers and violets and tulips scattering the immense landscape. In the direct middle was a plaid red and white blanket being pinned to the ground by hefty rocks being utilized as weights. A common picnic basket sat in the middle, right next to the beautiful woman that was his maternal parental advisor. A small, twelve year-old Grayson sauntered into the frame, running to the picnic area upon coming to the realization that it was his mother waiting for him. The small child sat across from the woman, hungrily waiting for her to provide him with his long awaited lunch. The woman chortled elegantly, pulling from the basket two hoagies, vegetable sticks, fresh Granny Smith apples, and lemonade juice pouches. Clapping happily, Grayson thankfully accepted the meal. The woman stood, offering a sad smile before voicing, "Enjoy, baby. Mommy will be back soon." She waved, turning from him and walking out of the frame. Grayson shrugged, munching happily on his hoagie, waiting for his mother to return. As the hours passed, the boy grew worried, beginning to call for her. It was then that she ran back into frame, apologizing repeatedly and hugging her son. This caused Grayson's real facial expression to change to a very slight smile. -
Sebastian turned around walking inside mumbling something about Justin. He opened the pizza box and practically moaned at the delicious sent wafting off he pizza, the pizza from Links was the best and it didn't matter what anyone else said. He grabbed a slice and bit into the cheesy goodness with a moan. He ate it slowly wanting to give Grayson a little bit more time to rest. He savored every last crum before grabbing a plate from the cupboard and put three slices on it, he grabbed another plate and put one on there. Out of the corner of his eyes he caught sight of the stove and he remembered stealing bowls of cookie dough off the counters or jumping up and down staring to the oven whipe the cookies were cooking, he remembered when his grandma started making three batches of cookies so they could eat a batch of the raw while they cooked.
Sebastian shook his head and grabbed the plates and drinks walking up stairs. He easily found the room Grayson was in, it was the room he use to sleep in. He set the plates down on the table beside the bed and then half shifted on it and shook Grayson lightly, "Grayson, wake up." He said quietly while shaking him, "I have the pizza." He whispered chuckling remembering the reaction he got when he suggested pizza. -
In the paradise of the sweet, sweet dreams, Grayson was still being clutched by his mother as she allowed more apologies to seep from her, explaining that she had not meant to leave him. The young boy was only returning the embrace, nodding in an understanding fashion. When the nudges and shakes were felt, Grayson's orbs fluttered open, and it was clear he was somewhat out of it for a few moments, almost as though he was still focusing on the dream. A shake of his head snapped him out of the moment, and he came to a sudden sitting position, rubbing his eyes tenderly. His hair was sticking up in a few places, his pupils dilated and his eyes glazed over. He pushed the cover down to his hips, looking to Sebastian with his drowsy features. In a soft, sleepy voice, he stated, "Dude, pizza is the best thing ever. May I have some?"
That was when his nostrils caught a whiff of the tempting aroma associated with the Italian food, and it seemed to light up the rest of his features. He thanked the other male a few times for actually ordering the food, itching his own bare chest as he spoke. Once again, he ruffled the boy's hair with a grin. Though he was loving the moment, he would have given anything to lay back down and send himself back into the picnic, be with his mother. He hardly dreamed about her anymore, and so the sudden vision was surprising and it was something he would ask for on any night. He was now with the boy he had basically had a raging crush on for the weeks in which he had known him, and so he shook the thoughts of his late parent away, waiting to accept his pizza. -
big question whenever you are on, just answer above your sebby post
when I introduce the mastigos, would you rather they be a supernatural type of hunters that goes for 'abominations' like seb and grayson might be considered by them?
or would you rather they be human working with a leader that wants them? -
It doesn't matter too much to me but the second I guess.
This is my second time writing this.
Sebastian laughed and handed Grayson the plate with three slices on it, "I didn't know how much you wanted, if your still hungry I'll get you some more when your done." He said then handed him the Sprite. "If you don't want it I'll have it and you can have my Root Beer." He said with a small smile and picked up his plate and sat against the headboard. He smiled and took a large bite out of his pizza. He licked his lips catching a bit of sause that slipped off.
He took another bite out of the pizza and swallowed , he glanced over at Grayson, "So earlier you said you wanted to talk about something, What?" He asked, he realized as it left his mouth it was a stupid question making his cheeks heat up. He looked away from Grayson refusing to meat his gaze and ate his pizza, his cheeks burning more. He just wanted a conversation and he embarrassed himself, that's what I get for opening my mouth, is all he thought while staring at his pizza. -
perfecto :)
dude I hate when that happens
The teenager just about scarfed down his entire first slice of the tasty slab of grease and cheese. After being so horribly hungry, the food was exactly what was necessary to brighten up his demeanor. He peered over at Sebastian as he spoke, cracking up the Sprite and taking a large swig of the carbonated beverage. The cold, biting flavor bit the back of his throat, a feeling that he had forgotten. He had a little bit of sauce near the corners of his mouth that he figured he would wipe off when he was actually finished his meal. After giving another 'thank you', he slowly began to respond, "Well, I meant we could talk as Grayson and Sebastian, werecoyote and ...magic man?" A small chuckle came from him. "Instead of tutor to student, you know?"
After he said that, he chomped down the rest of his second slice, repeating what he had said in his mind. It was true that the both of them were not exactly versed in each other's lives. What they knew about each other was limited, so having a good heart to heart was something Grayson deemed a perfect idea. He grinned at how good of an idea it was, taking a few more sips of the Sprite. Eating the junk food was satisfying after being stuck on chicken Caesar salads and fruits and vegetables and protein shakes and soy milk. Changing his lifestyle, even if for a little bit, was beautiful his opinion. -
Sorry I meant to do this but my book distracted me.
Ugh ikr.
Sebastian quickly finished his slice and put down his plate as he picked up the Root Beer taking a drink then moved so he was laying in the bed. He smiled slightly taking another drink he choked on a bit, "Magic man?" He asked laughing still choking a bit. "I guess it works." He said smiling, Sebastian thought and shrugged, "What do you want to know, Grayson?" He asked, not really sure what he wanted to hear an he didn't want to sat anything unnecessary although it didnt really matter.
The noises from the forest quietly drifter through the open window, he listened to the silently, he never really thought about doing this, talking to someone other then his grandmother, Serah, Meagan, Justin, Haily, and grandpa, he just didn't do that, and he hadn't even had a real conversation with any of them in a very long time. But then again tell Sebastian two months ago he'd be sitting in a bed, with the man he loved who was also a werecoyote he'd of laughed in your face but here he was. -
All's good :)
"You can tell me whatever you want, and if you want to know thing about me, feel free to ask." Promptly inhaling his third and final slice of pizza, he covered his mouth as he let out a small burp of satisfaction. He reached over Sebastian to place the plate onto the side table, also grabbing his shirt, and quickly returning to his previous position. He pulled the cotton fabric back over his head to cover his top half, rolling his neck a few times. Leaning against the headboard, he apologized, "Sorry about the whole shirtless thing. Probably a little disrespectful as I don't know what you're comfortable with." He nearly laughed, but brushed the comical nature of his comment into the trash of his thoughts, pulling the blanket over himself once more. "But yeah, anyways, let's talk."
He wondered what Sebastian would say to him, if he would be aware of the boy's deepest, darkest secrets. The other male was something close to a mystery, intriguing in his own mystic sense of self. That was when it struck him that he had not revealed much of his own secrets to even the boys on the lacrosse team, people he had known since he was a middle schooler. He bit his lip, knowing that if he worried, it would only cause the situation to be more difficult. He waited in anticipation of what the other may say. -
bumpbump

Sebastian chuckled, "Grayson, I don't really care if your shirts off, if you're more comfortable like that." Sebastian thought for a moment, not really knowing what to tell the other, his biggest and really only secret already known by him. He hummed quietly, "Well let's see," he paused second guessing himself, "I'm an only child... I've never had a real conversation with my mom or even met my father. My entire family hates my taking out my grandparents, when they were alive. My grandparents practically raised my -this is their house by the way- my grandpa died a few years ago and my grandma died a bit ago, they were um both like me. I have had three friends growing up, they were siblings and I stopped talking to them because the oldest, Justin, scares the s--- out of me, he's a shifter -which is different from what you are, completely, if you didn't know- he also reminds me of his father so that makes it worse." He spoke quickly then let out a shaky breath
"I hate horror movies, I cry every time I watch 50 First Dates, 10 Thing I Hate About You and Prince & Me. I've seen That 70's Show atleast thirteen time, Friends about ten, How I Met Your Mother eight, I always cry at the end, White Collar nine times, I cry watching the last episode of that too. I've seen Dexter twice and I can never finish Their Rock From The Son, despite that when ever I see Trinity from Dexter I scream 'God speed' and always salute. I can't read any human language and it makes me angry and frustrated, it makes my cry sometimes, but I can read dumb--- simbols in books that are older then me that don't make since to anyone else but people like me. And I've waisted a month of your time because I'll never be able to read a human language fluently." He rambled off quickly gesturing with his hand not making much sense at all. Once he stopped he lit up red with embarrassment and put his head in his hands, rolling on his stomach hiding in the pillow on the bed. -
you're such a good soap buddy I love
The male easily peeled off his shirt once he was given the proper permission, flinging it off and into the desolate corner of the room. He listened intently, basically absorbing the string of syllables and accents flooding from the lips of the other boy. He found himself growing increasingly upset as he was informed of the rather dark side that Sebastian clearly had to deal with. His heart paced quickly as he listened to the explanation of the loss of the boy's grandparents, a tad uncomfortable as they were then in the home which was most likely difficult for Sebastian. He bit his lip, furrowing his eyebrows as his head tiltef slightly. A catharsis was offered with the facts pertaining to the movies and such though he had only been caught up with The Fosters and Mr. Robot at that point. Television was not exactly his main interest, leaving him in the dark about many of the programs the other mentioned. A tiny chuckle came from him, which easily dissipated when the other teenager entered the fact about his inability to read or write a human language properly.
His heart sank as he witnessed the boy roll away from him. Grayson reached a tender hand out to grip the boy's arm, deciding that giving him a response would be the best course of action. "I'm sorry to hear about your parents and your grandparents. I am sure they were lovely people and that they cared about you immensely. I hope you are alright with being here and have had enough time to heal." He squeezed the boy's arm gently. "I admittedly have yet to watch much of what you just talked about. Perhaps we can watch something one of these times. That would be fun, don't you think? And hey, please don't beat yourself up over the language thing. It's alright. I can pull a few stops for you with Tennerson's class. I do grade most of the quizzes and some of the tests. I can help, I promise. I will find a way to help you. Don't you dare be ashamed of something you cannot handle." He brushed a hand against the back of Sebastian's head, giving a small tug to his hair before patting his back. "I do not judge you one bit for having that silly little issue. It isn't what you need." -
😮😮😮
Sebastian shook his head hiding in the pillow more, "My grandparents, yeah, my parents, never." He said choosing to ignore the comment on the home. "Yeah... maybe, you might not like them that much though..." he hummed quietly. He wrapped an arm around him and pulled himself closer, shifting himself to hide his face in his side. "Thank you, Grayson, I... I don't really think you get it but thanks, it means a lot." He said with a small smile, " If I'm too close tell me and I'll get off." He said quietly enjoying the heat, "Your turn, tell me about yourself." He chuckled quietly.
Snuggled into his side he wondered what he was going to be told. He didn't have too much time to think about what he was going to say so he just blurted out whatever came into his head, but for the other, he had a while to think about it, it was his idea. Sebastian was kind of embarrassed about what he said about the shows hes watched and the movie facts he spurted out. He felt like he should of said more given the situation bot he didn't have much to tell. He smiled slightly waiting to hear what he said. -
Grayson slung a loose arm to rest on Sebastian, nodding understandably, furrowing his eyebrows upon hearing the comment about not 'getting it', but he refrained from mentioning anything pertaining to the statement. He pat his hand against Sebastian for a few moments, looking upwards in an attempt to pull out information that he thought may be valuable for Sebastian to be aware of. Delving into the personal side of his life was never a simple task for the teenager, perpetually desiring that attention not be brought to him. He assumed that the other male would be interested regardless of how sentimental he decided to be. He peered over at the other wall, recalling why they were even there in the first place-- the lack of pure care for himself. He swallowed heavily, shaking his head at his own careless mistakes. Slowly bringing himself to look at Sebastian once again, he gave a small shrug.
"I know Silver Livings Playbook, the book and the movie, like the back of my hand. I've been playing lacrosse since I was six years old and I was really close to becoming the captain of the team, but there's times where things happen and I'm-- no, I just don't go to practice, so that doesn't do me much good. Sure, I want to become captain, but I just can't make every practice." He shrugged, giving a small smile. "I like school...a lot. But sometimes I don't go to school, either. Thankfully, I catch up on work a lot." In reality, there were days that he couldn't find it in himself to actually pull himself up, get ready within the necessary time frame, and attend the educational area. It was not that he had depression, but sadness surely plagued him after building when he refused to allow himself proper days to let his emotions out. "As you now know, I am a werecoyote, which I don't really like. Like a werewolf would have been cool. But I don't fully change. And there's something to do with my origin pack's element of fire and apparently I can use it but I can't." Once again, he shrugged. "And my mom.." The boy paused, wondering if he actually was comfortable with saying anything. "My mom is a great woman."
