Snowwillow purred agian. "So, do you know who Ivyheart's furture kit's mentor's are going to be?" She meowed jokingly.

Duskstar shook his head like he couldn't quite believe she was talking to him. "Ha, Nobodyfur and Nobodytail; if anycat's related to you they don't need a mentor." he licked a paw and drew it over his ear, embarrassed.

Snowwillow purred. "I knew under that toughness you were sweet."

Duskstar purred. He licked her ear.

SNowwillow purred agian. She nuzzled his cheek.

Snowwillow looked up at him. "Hey, um, I was wondering... this is really quick, but, um.. do you already have a mate?"

Duskstar blinked. "No."

Snowwillow's whiskers twitched. Was her question going to be too fast? She blurted out: "Do you want to be my mate?" She quickly cover her eyes with her paws.

Duskstar's eyes widened. He hesitated for an age, then meowed, "Y-yes."

Snowwillow moved her left paw a little so she could open it. "Really?"

"Yes." he sounded much for certain this time. "Really."

Snowwillow jumped up and nuzzled him. "Thank you so much! I don't ever have to be alone anymore!"

Duskstar purred.
Ivyheart went hunting. She climbed high in a tree, in pursuit of a squirrel. -
Time skip.. moon-rise)
Snowwillow drousily padded to the warrior's den. -
Ivyheart was fast asleep.
Redclaw was on border patrol. He came into the camp and curled in his nest, exhausted.
