Snowwilow brang a rabbit to Chaos and nodded to Ivyheart. "This is my sister. I forgot to mention her sorry." -
chaos flicked his tail "its ok" he said, nodding to her

"Hi," mewed Ivyheart. She scuffed the earth with her paw. "Who are you?"

"This is Chaos." Snowwillow smiled. "And Stonepaw needs some water. Do you remember where we found the pond?"

"Uh, okay. Thanks." Ivyheart licked her paw; it had dirt on it. She spat, shaking her head. 'Yuck', she thought to herself.

Snowwilow smiled.

Chaos started nibbling on the rabbit

Ivyheart broke the silence. "I'm going hunting, okay?" she meowed.

Ivyheart left and almost as soon as she was out in the forest she heard a bird right above her in the tree. She climbed it-it was a sturdy willow beside a cool pond-and, sneaking silently along the branch, fixed her eyes on the chickadee. She gathered her powerful hind legs under her body and pounced. The chickadee's life was over, for that chickadee; tragedy, for Ivyheart; success.

Chaos finished eating and he looked around

Ivyheart caught a robin and a squirrel, then returned to the camp. She put the prey on the fresh-kill pile. Her nose twitched. There was something odd about the smell..She reached in and hooked a piece out with her paw. It was a finch. But it was swarming with maggots, and was rotten. Ivyheart dragged it away and buried it.
