Melinda hung up and Mila looked at the ceiling. "I had to do what I had to do!" she said softly.

Johnnie was sobbing, hugging Benji tightly.

Mila closed her eyes, falling asleep quietly.

Johnnie had one of Benji's hoodies on, face covered. She bumped into Mila and a few other people. "f--- off" Johnnie said as they shouted "Watch it!" All except Mila. -
Mila looked t Johnnie. Her and her friends walked passed as they started talking about Johnnie. "She's new here.". "Yeah, you can tell.". "She looks like a drug head.". "She looks disgusting.".

"Mess with me, see what happens. You don't mess with a heartbroken b----." Johnnie said before walking away.

Mila rolled her eyes. "Who does she think she is?" Sandy, a blonde girl said to Mila. "I have no idea. She's probably lost and can't find her way back home." Mila said.

Johnnie grabbed a twelve pack of Cokes and went over to a waiting Benji. "You ready, Johnnie?" Benji asked, holding the handles to a cart. "Yeah" Johnnie sighed, pulling down her hood "Now I'm away from some a--holes. Let's go. When we get to your house, Diamond Heart." Johnnie said before leaving with Benji.

Mila walked out the movies with her friends and went to eat some fast food. -
Johnnie sat on the front steps, fiddling with her fingers. She was now in torn-up blue jeans, running Nike's, and a bright purple t-shirt. She got up, and started walking.

Mila began laughing with her friends. "Hey, there's a party at my friends house, we should go." one of the girls said. Mila was kind of on edge if she should go or not but decided to.

Johnnie's phone rang, and she checked it. Mila. She hung up, then continued walking.
