The four kingdoms each have one of the four great races; humans, elves, dwarves, and half-giants. Each kingdom is surrounded by a wall for reasons unknown. One person of each race has a certain dagger, those particular daggers are the Four Daggers, four ancient daggers with great powers. Those daggers are; the Darkness Dagger, the Water Dagger, the Wolf Dagger, and the Day Dagger. But they don't know their daggers are the Daggers until they each find a book with descriptions of the Daggers. When a mysterious force attacks the four kingdoms these four join together to defeat it.

I will have the elf and the Wolf Dagger.
Starts shortly before they find the books.

Power:(No making them overpowered, it has to make sense with their Dagger) He can borrow energy from the sunlight , and burst into flames but only while he's holding the dagger, he has a control over solar energy and can make and control fires. He can iliuminate a dark place with loght from his dagger.
Personality: He's a little standoffish and hard to talk to because of how antisocial he is, he doenst trust anyone but him self.
Bio: Tauren was rasied in a guild of thieves and bandits , he learned from a young age to rely on no one but himself . Tauren was sold off at the age of fifty to entertain a rich noble but after twenty five years he managed to slaughter them all.
Other : Tauren is good with a bow as well as his dagger . -
I thought there could only be one of each race? If so shouldn't Roel be a human?
