The next day.
Laura walked through the hallway and wondered who would be in her new class. When she sat at her desk she looked at the seat next to her, "Trina?!", she gasped. -
Trina turned away from Holly, and loked at Laura. "Laura?" she asked. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Told yah!" Holly said as she laughed. "I guess your gonna hang with your 'bestfriend' now!" Holly chuckled. "Shut up." Trina said.

Laura smiled, "I switched schools," she said, when a loud meow came from her backpack and everyone looked at her.

Trina shrugged and looked at her. "I wonder why?" she asked herself. Holly laughed and threw a paper at Laura. "EVERYONE! Calm down!" the principle said, coming in to observe them.

Laura's face turned bright red when Gumdrop meowed, and then, right when the principle came in he clawed a hole at the top and poked his head out.

"Ms. Benson! There are no pets allowed during school hours. But since this is your first day and you are a long way from home, it will be a warning." The principle said. She walked around and stopped near Trina. "Ms. Michaels, I don't see no writing on your paper. Please, get to work!". Trina sighed and rolled her eyes.

Gumdrop got out of the backpack hopped onto Laura's lap and went to sleep. Laura sighed and looked at him thinking, Why did I bring him?, then a vision flickered through her head, fire was everywhere, people were dying,everyone alive was running around screaming. Then it passed, and everything was back to normal, well, as normal as it could be.

"Laura!" Trina called out to her. "Are you okay? You zoned out for a minute there..." She said. "Why do you care? Come let's ditch today." Holly said, slapping Trina's arm playfully. "Trip is coming to pick us up in 4th period. So meet us outside." Holly added.

"Yes," she lied, "Just a headache." but truly, she was not okay, all she could think about was that vision and what it could mean.

Darksunshine NoviceTrina looked at Holly, "Yeah. Whatever!" she said. She looked back at Laura and was confused at what just happened. "Why did she come back?" Trina thought to herself.

Laura looked past Trina and out the window, when she felt her cat jump off her lap and run out the door, Laura used her other power and saw what he saw and noticed that he was heading towards the principle's office. So she ran after Gumdrop and picked him up right when he office.

"Wow, you're friend is really.......Ummm......Decent." Holly commented with a slight laugh inbetween."She ain't my friend." Trina said. She narrowed her eye on Holly and rolled them.

Laura put Gumdrop in her backpack and forced him to stay there, then she went back to class, "Sorry." she said and sat down. She looked at Trina, and decided she shouldn't keep her secret from her. Laura leaned over and whispered, "If I told you something, no matter what, would you believe me?"

Trina shrugged and looked at Holly again, who began to tease. Trina then looked at Laura and sighed. "I don't know." She said and looked at her. "What do you need to tell me?" She asked, trying to make it quick.

Laura took a deep breath and, after making sure no one else could hear, whispered, "I have powers, namely, zoopathy, sensory scrying, and I get visions of the future," she paused, "You don't believe me, do you?"
