Chris looked at everyone nodded, but in particular took to Mallory. She was shy, but spoke only when she needed and seem to be the peace-maker of the group. "I think Mallory should have a chance." he said, looking at the group and nodding. "What do you all think?" Chris looked at Mallory and gave her a slight smile. How would he prove himself to be a good person when he had already gave her the impression that he was a bad person.
He couldn't help the way he was. He couldn't help that he was a 'murderer', but it was his path. He let out a silent sigh and shruggeed his shoulders as he awaited eeveryones answer to his question -
Tasarau turned his attention to Chris and said "You may have a point." He then turned to Zianna and said "And you have obviously forgotten what I said before. I kill only when hunting and when there is no option left. But in the interest of being democratic, we will do this the way my people do it. With a secret ballot. I'll look for a box, someone find paper and pencils."

Zianna looked at him. " I never forget. You weren't hunting when you attacked him."'he said " Our best chocuenis Malory"

Mallory's attitude quickly took a 180. "Wh-what?! I-I can't! I... I mean, I wasn't going to join this group anyway, and... Um... Why me?" She was startled, and asked this as a genuine question. She wasn't sure how they could've possibly still wanted her in the group, let alone as the leader. Chris bringing her into the picture threw her off enough that she had completely forgotten to keep up her tough act. At the moment she was acting how she normally would when she's thrown off guard, without any acting.
She noticed Chris's smile and then frowned slightly. Did he actually think that she would make a good leader? She wasn't sure. She also wasn't sure why everyone seemed to be agreeing with him. -

Chris rolled his eyes at S.F's comment. "Why can't they understand that I want to change. I don't want to be like this anymore." he thought. "So, is it decided then? Mallory will be the leader of the group." he said, smiling and walked toward an public restroom. He wanted to be alone. No one had to see him like this. He DIDN'T want anyone to see him like this.

Tasarau said "I guess since I'm being completely ignored, it's unanimous. I agree Mallory should be out leader."

"But..." Mallory started weakly. She paused when she noticed another emotion hidden beneath Chris's smile. She couldn't pinpoint it exactly, as she only saw it for a moment. However, it made him seem humane almost. She frowned and glanced around once more. "I... I guess... if you all want me to be the leader... I can try it. I can't promise that I'll be a good one, though." She mumbled the last few words, not liking all of the attention on her.

Chris walked into a stall and locked himself inside as a pool of tears fell down his face. "Is this what it feels like to have emotions?" he thought, punching the door as his heart raced. "What if I'm changing for the better?" he said, out loud. His heart fluttered at the thought and he shook his head. People like him could never change.
