I was thinking of making a plot about more of surviving The book Life As We Know It. Which is about how the moon got hit by an astroid and brought it closer to the earth, making everything wrong. However, I was thinking of making it have some more of fantasy in it, like monsters. Sound like a good idea so far? -

Well. Let me make that plot and you can actually decide once that's done. It'll take me 10-60 minutes.

It wasn't normal. It started perfectly. The day May 18th came was very exciting. Everyone was excited. NASA and The other Astronomers were very happy to hear about the occasion. It was said that a Comet would pass very close to the moon, barely missing it, So close that we would be Able to see it with the naked eye. CNN news would record the whole thing and we would be able to watch it. It was said to be the biggest comet that has ever passed the earth.
It was 9:00 p.m. that night that it would occur. So, everyone gathered around outside on the streets. Everyone observed the sky and with amazement, there the comet was. Except it wasn't a comet, it was an asteroid. Everyone started screaming and that's when the loudest thing ever heard in our existence happened. The half moon in the sky wasn't a half moon anymore. It was tilted and wrong and a three-quarter moon. It got larger, way larger, large like a moon rising on the horizon, only it wasn't rising. It was smack in the middle of the sky, way too big, way too visible. You could see craters even without ever having to have a telescope again. It was like if you're playing marbles and one marbles hits another on its side and pushes it diagonally.
This was 5 years ago. The tides were everywhere. Life as we know it was dying out. Only 30% remained. The tides flattened every state by the sea. Remember New York? The statue of liberty is gone. The Yellowstone volcanoes are covering the skies with fog and smoke. The summertime air is done in the 20 temperature range because of the fog. Mosquitoes and bugs have created a plague. The plague wiped out the 70% of the population
To survive, Animals changed. The dogs are wolves and bugs are plague filled. Zombies roam the earth. Humans are either mental and trying to kill you or close to it. Everything is gone. Food is food. Human or not. You must eat. This isn't even the end. Storms are 10x worst. This isn't even the beginning. The only thing now is to kill and survive. Can you do it?
