Cecilia sighed in relief from the reactionless Amalia. She hastily got out a rope and tied Amalia's hands together. She walked backwards, holding on to Amelia by her restrained hands and towards the door. She walked pass the dead guards she had to kill to get there. Guilt lurched her stomach, but she ignored it.
-
Amalia made a quiet sound after a few moments, coming from her sleep. Her eyes kept closed as her dream she was having at the time kept playing in her mind. Unaware of all that had happened around her there. Which was a good thing. Her head and body moved slightly after a few moments, trying to adjust and become comfortable once more for the time.
-
Cecilia held her breath when Amalia moved slightly. She needed to hurry. She suddenly heard footsteps and some yelling. How did they find out? She couldn't get couldn't fail now, if she turned back she would never try again and guilt would kill her. She slung Amalia over her shoulder and sprinted towards the gates outside. She was so close.
-
Amelia had kept silent for a few moments, still in her sleep. Though, that changed quickly after a while as she felt herself being moved, feeling herself up and down and the air hitting her. Her green eyes slowly opening to just be met with the floor, unable to really tilt her head up or look around. She kicked her legs a bit and tried to wriggle herself out of the grip she felt that someone had on her, trying to scream, though failing as she tried.
-
Cecilia felt Amalia start to kick. She was awake. The sound of arrows whizzing pass her ear was all she heard. Newfound fear made her sprint faster, though her legs were aching. Just a few more steps. swoosh. So close she could touch it. swoosh. She kicked it open, just as an arrow hit her shoulder. She whimpered but continued to run. She jumped on her waiting horse and positioned Amalia to not fall off. She glanced up and saw guards a few yards away.
-
Where am I? What's happening?! questions came through her head though were stopped as she felt herself on something. She could hear the guard's yelling, and wanted to scream for help, but still couldn't. Unable to move very well, knowing she was up a bit high too. She tried to calm herself, she couldn't do anything if she panicked. She had to keep calm there and hope for the best.
-
Cecilia whipped on the reigns. The horse started running. The guards were close behind, shooting arrows in all directions. She was surprised she actually only got hit once. An arrow marred her thoughts when it landed in her thigh. She whimpered. She urged the horse to go faster, to prevent any harm from her ex best friend. She suddenly watched in horror as an arrow punctured through Amelia's arm.
-
Amalias eyes shot open wide as she felt something pierce into her arm. She whimpered to the pain, gritting her teeth together to try to remain quiet. Not wanting to lose focus and panic, though failing badly. She could feel a trickle of blood from the wound she had, as she closed her eyes shut tightly. She never really liked blood at all, especially of it was on her, trying not to think of it. Don't die...don't die..don't let me die.. she kept repeating to herself in her head. She wasn't worried as much at the time about the person who was kidnapping her, ro the wound and possibility of death.
-
Cecilia made the horse round a corner. The guards ran past, and Cecilia urged the horse to the left and continued to run until she was sure no one was chasing her. She slowed the horse to a walk, and eventually stopped. She jumped off the horse and set Amalia to the ground. She took out her first aid kit, knowing something like this was going to happen. She ignored the stabs of pain in her wounds and tended to Amalia.
-
Amelia felt herself being moved and opened her eyes to be met with the burning glare of the Sun overhead as she quickly shut them back closed and turned her head to the side as she heard footsteps right near her. She opens her eyes and tried to spot the person who had taken her, feeling them begin to try to help them. "Thank you" was what she wanted to say, they were being kind to her with that, though she was scared still of them. Unable to speak though, she tried to relax to try to help them do what they were trying to do. Seeing that they had been hit as well after a bit.
-
Cecilia bent down and whispered in Amalia's ear, "This is going to hurt.." Before she yanked the arrow out of Amalia's arm. She wiped away the dripping blood and started sowing the wound. Her shoulder stung with every movement. She got annoyed and ripped out her own arrows. Though now she could move more freely, she paused to whimper in pain.
-
Amalia nodded her head to her as she shut her eyes shut, holding them tightly as she took a deep breath in her nose to try to suppress a scream she wanted to make as it was pulled out. Whimpering again in pain as it was, water forming in her eyes, as she held it back as best as she could going back to laying down there, laying stil.
-
Cecilia paused. "Do you remember me? Do you know who I am?" Cecilia asked gently but urgently, remembering their childhood. The walks they used to take and the games they used to play. "I was your best friend, Amalia.." She trailed off, hoping Amalia didn't forget the times they shared.
-
Amalia looked up to the girl there as she heard her speak. She thought about it for a few moments before she shook her head as a "no" not remembering who she was, or even of she really did ever know her. She tried to remember, but of they really were best friends, why would she kidnap her like she had just done? Shaking her head still as she was there.
-
Cecilia nodded. Of course she didn't. Amalia probably had tons of best friends. She tried to hold back a tear as one of her greatest friends didn't know who she was and was frightened of her. She stood and helped Amalia up. "My name is Cecilia.." Cecilia said, then bit her lip. Maybe her name would trigger a memory.
