Hickorey payed for all the snacks and drinks they got. Sliding them all in his bookbag after. As he walked out, he smiled at her. "Now, onto our journey? " he asked in a pleasant voice.

Knight nodded with a cheerful smile as she looked up at him."our journey shall start" She chirped happily before she started walking.

Hickorey chuckled slightly as he walked behind her. He liked that he could manage to do something nice for mankind. He nibbled on his finger, despiting boredom.

Knight started to softly sing to herself as she walked towards the mountains.She smiled happily as she sung.

Hickorey smiled as he heard her. "You have a nice voice." He said while placing his hands in his pocket. Listening to her voice as she sung.

"Thank you.." Knight said softly as she blushed faintly at the compliment.She then smiled sweetly to him as she walked.

Hickorey nodded politely before glancing down. "So. . ." He started to say. "How long have you been lonely?"

"8 years...." Knight said as tears started to go down her face.She then raised up her sleeve to show many scars going up and down her arm.

Hickorey's eyes widen. He didnt really know that humans abusive themselfs like demons do. It was often strange. He nodded a frown. "I-I See. . ."

Knight sighed before she wiped away her tears with frown."My parents and uncle were the only ones that cared for me......" She mumbled sadly.

Hickorey sighed under his breath before placing a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm sure your uncle would be proud to see you take care of yourself so well." He said as if he was a gentleman. He smiled, hoping that cheered her up.

Knight nodded as she smiled.She then went back to walking as she neared the mountains.

Hickorey nodded again, relieved. He continued to walk behind her as the sun went down. "Should we stay somewhere for the night?" He asked.

Knight nodded as she looked at an opening in the mountains as walked towards it."There's a cave here..." She said.
