The little demon slept without distraction from his father. He simply was in the freedom world, but his kind wasn't welcome there. The thought of sleeping in this state made him feel different. Though his background didn't change a bit. Hickorey was sleeping, the most relaxed sleep he has been in.

Knight woke up an hour later as she sat up.She didn't want to go back to the town because she was scared of being bullied again.The thought brought tears to her face as she lets out soft whimpers.

The noises made the demon awake. He rubbed his eyes as the morning sun hit his face. Hickorey glanced down and noticed the lady crying. He nibbled on his bottom lip and tried to understand why she had tears run down her face.

".........T-They don't understand the pain and suffering I went through..........I-I lost both my parents........" Knight said softly as she trembled as the tears kept coming.She curled up into a ball as she whimpered.

Hickorey looked down and frowned. She was homeless. He gently stroked her hair as she laid there, crying. Since he was a human, he didn't think it was weird. He jumped down quietly to see her clearly. "That's awful." He said as he crossed his arms, siting down next to her.

Knight sniffled and uncurled slightly before seeing him there."I know and plus I always get bullied and physical abused.......No one cares for me so I should just die........" She mumbled as she started shaking.

Hickorey nodded as he looked at her with a smile. "Dont die, if you do, then what's the point of accomplishing life?" He asked as he rubbed her back, whipping her tears away with one finger. He wished she had a better life to care about. Seeing her depressed made him frown. Even.though he fed on.that emotion, she was different.

Knight nodded and smiled slightly feeling kinda better."I'm Knight,Knight WhiteGlare" She said as she sat up and looked at him as her eyes had their color and spark back.

Hickorey placed his hands in his lap as he sat there in front of her. "Hickorey." He said, he didn't want to give her his demon name. Can't really trust anyone in this world. He gave her a smile as he looked her in the eyes.

Knight smiled back as she placed her hands beside her.She decided not to question about his last name since she knew he didn't want to.

Hickorey nodded as he bit his lip. His stomach grumbled which made him blush. "Ughh. . . I should get going." He said as he stood up, looking away. He was hungry and he had nothing to do with her. So he shrugged as he slid his hands in his pockets.

Knight nodded in understanding before she looked around the trees to find any fruit for herself.She saw an apple tree and got up before walking towards it and hopped up into the tree and picked all the sweet ones before jumping down and walking back to her spot.

Hickorey waved his hand before leaving her. Walking into the town, hoping he could crave some human food. He decided to eat some seafood, it had a nice flavor to it. He saved some in a box and left. Wanting to give the rest to her, just to make her happy. He thought about her as he walked back.

Knight ate an apple as she looked up into the sky as she relaxed from the winds sunny skies.She took another bite of the apple before throwing away the the remains of the apple.

Hickorey smiled, seeing her there were she was. He walked up to her and bend down to hand her the box. "Here." He said as he smiled more. He sat down and moved his hair from his face.
