Rayne sighed and gave in, closed her eyes as she hummed the tune before beginning to let the words slide past her soft lips.
"Dancing bears, painted wings
Things I almost remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December
Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Once upon a December
Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Things it yearns to remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December..." -
Pablo blushed as he listened to her soft vocie. He clapped his hand lightly as she finsihed. Nodding in delight.
-
Rayne blushed even deeper as Tera hugged her. "We missed you..." Rayne was about to hug back when Tera dragged her behind a tree, whispering something in her ear the made her go bright red and tense. "Tera!"
-
Pablo decided to greet each child with a wave or a little rub on the head. They were simply adorable. He glanced at Rayne and saw hee blush, thinking she's really shy usually.
-
Rayne sighed and shook her head. "Like I told Sophie, I'm a servant, nothing more." She murmured into the girl's ear before patting her head. Tera sighed and hugged her tightly, causing Rayne to smile and hug back gently. She carefully picked her up, putting her on her hip as she walked out into the children once more, smiling.
-
Pablo waved his hand at her to get her attention. "Ill be at the.corner, come when you're ready." He said calmly as he waved a.goodbye to the children then walking forward. He brushed his hair out of his face as he turned to the corner, thinking while waiting.
-
Rayne sighed. "You heard him children. It's time for me to go." She kneeled down, opening her arms for a hug. The children crowded to hug her and, after a few moments, she stood, grabbing the basket. "I'll see you as soon as I can."
-
Pablo felt bad for her leaving. But on the other hand, he didn't want her to be behind bars. He took a deep breath and leaned on a market wall, waiting for her to appear.
-
Rayne soon walked to him, bowing her head. "Thank you for bringing me, my lord." She said respectfully, beyond grateful.
-
Pablo smiled "Your welcome. " he said as he started to walk back home with her. Keeping a small distance between her.
-
Rayne loyally followed behind, leaving the distance as she looked down at her feet silently. She knew it'd be best not to speak unless spoken to.
-
Pablo bit his lip, trying to decided on what to say. He gazed at the sky as he continued to walk. "Well, for starters. You don't have to call me lord." He insisted on the change.
-
Rayne blinked and nodded. "What shall I call you then, Master?" She questioned quietly.
-
Pablo blushed immensely as he heard her respond. Thinking the other way around with "master". He tried to look away. "Um.. i-if you want to call me that..."
-
Rayne nodded. "As you wish, Master." She said, her voice still soft. She was a bit embarrassed as she was corrected by him.
